Only update is that it's a shit-tip in there at the moment! I'm halfway through a whole bunch of stuff (welding, machining, bike servicing, house painting etc) and haven't actually finished anything for months.

Delemont (ex-Wenger products) are your only option if you want scissors in a pocket knife (rather than a keychain knife) smaller than the 91mm range - but the options are limited, particularly if you want pliers. I think the S52 is discontinued.

How about a Deluxe Tinker? It's a bit bigger, but I think has all the things you're looking for. If you need a corkscrew it's a relatively easy swap for the Phillips driver on the reverse.

I prefer building to painting but having unpainted models annoys me so I feel compelled to do it. I do like the speed paints/contrast paints though, they take a lot of the faff out of it if you're ok with the slightly inferior results.

Playing, I'm not so fussed about.

Thanks! I used Army Painter Orc Skin speed paint for the green - the rest is a combination of Citadel base/layers and some other Army Painter speed paints. The speed paints do need a bit of care and forethought to not get big dark patches but they go on really nicely with a fat brush.

I did go back round the eyes with white layer paint afterwards, but they were painted with speed paint too so it flows nicely out to the edges.

Love seeing the models being painted up!

I've recently got back into 40k with my kids. My eldest is working on a Flesh Tearers Astartes army and my youngest is doing Leviathan Tyranids. I'm painting up some Necrons and some Sons of Medusa.

Here's a couple of my Infernus marines from the Leviathan box, painted with speedpaint over zenithal.

The milling machine is all up and running now - I replaced the motor with a new identical unit from the manufacturer rather than fitting a VFD. Frame fixture is coming along slowly and I finally bought a TIG welder. Flat packed welding table arrived last week so I just need to tack that together and get on with practicing again.

In the olden days (2011...) one brake was fine. Current rules just say your bike has to meet French regulations, so whatever that is should be ok.

Maybe... Sounds like the leaf spring behind the blade is either bent or jammed with one of the other parts. Have a look down in the body of the knife and see if you can work out which.

They're not easy to take apart and fix but it is possible.

Finally finished my fixture. There's a bit of a twist in the rear axle mount that I need to shim out but everything else lines up and moves as it should.
