Brow-furrowing article from advrider. Apparently most American bikers are obnoxious shitheads! What does the panel think? I've spent a couple of years travelling around the US, and it's certainly jam-packed with cretins...are the bikers any worse than the rest? I eavesdropped on a bunch of them on the Blue Ridge Parkway, and the stupidity was priceless. And I went to a biker meetup in Miami, which was so soul-destroying I wanted to burn everything in sight. But it's the same at the Ace Cafe or the Hog's Back.
That’s pretty much the opinion I get when I look on any American motorbike forum.
They seem to be a rather odd, tribal bunch across the pond.
As you say though, nights at The Ace are just as bad, at least they were last time I went there about 15 years back. -

Depending on what speciality a nurse has they can go in to jobs in GP surgeries.
Quite a few surgeries now employ nurses/paramedics/physios directly which is seen as a way out of the NHS for quite a few.
I can’t talk about nurses but for paramedics it’s similar money to the NHS banding, no weekends or nights and still lets you pay in to the NHS pension. It’s proving popular as an escape route for some and they seem to be trying to recruit more and more.
As most surgeries are private companies now, it’s worsening staffing issues in the NHS and slowly but surely privatising my more and more of the health service. -

I've gone back to a Garmin watch as I preferred it over the Apple Watch.
The Apple Watch is a Series 7 in blue with the 45mm case. It comes with the blue strap.
There's a couple of light scratches on the screen as shown in the pictures and a small mark on the side of the casing.
The watch is boxed and comes with the wireless charger.
It was bought fromJohn Lewis on 12/3/22 so is covered by their 2 year warranty, the receipt will be sent with the watch. I also bought the two year extended accidental damage cover for the watch which runs until 24/3/24. I don't think it's possible to swap the names on this but I'll send all documentation to the buyer so they can use it for any claims if required. I'll be happy to help with any claims as it'll be in my name still.Looking for £200 posted for the watch.

There aren’t rafters as such. It’s an old metal framed garage with corrugated concrete panel roof. The old 50’s/60’s type with the very low pitch roof. It probably stands no more than 2.5m high and the metal frame where I can attach anything is probably about 2m high.
I’ve got a set of the TRX straps, probably cheap copies, off a mate who used them for shoulder rehab a while ago. Just need to get them in the garage and play around with fixing points for them I think. -

Has anyone got any experience of TRX type suspension strength training?
I really need to work on upper body and core but don't have much space at home for equipment and no inclination to join a gym. I can set up some of the TRX straps in the corner of the garage.
Obviously not looking to get absolutely ripped etc, just improvements to functional strength in core, back and shoulders.
Is it worth it or are there better things to do with my time? -

Has anyone used Formula brakes?
Currently got some Shimano Zee on the Solaris Max, quite fancy a change and a bit of bling.
Trickstuff are a bit too pricey.
Hope are usually pretty good so a set of X2's is a possibility.
Just seen some Formula T1 Racing and they seem to get decent reviews.
Any suggestions?
