Regarding the Wrights Olympian saddle (as it probably need restoration):
I found a Dawes re-badged Wrights Olympian 56L saddle in need of restoration (this one also looks like needs it) on my Carlton Continental.
Contacted Tony Colegrave (tony_colegrave at hotmail dot com) who used to work on the repair department at Brooks and now he's retired, but keeps working on saddle repairs.Full proper restoration with brand new Brooks leather was quoted at £125, however, he managed to get hold onto a set of Wrights saddle leather from the 50s, if I recall correctly, which has been properly stored all these years.
They were cosmetic reject (proper fine leather, just cosmetic issues, like two overlapping Wrights stamps and so on).
He offered to re-cover the saddle with this leather (same Olympian 56L stamp on the top) for the cheap price of £50 (return shipping included).
He was very quick too, like a week.Have a look here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/anidel/sets/72157642946379084/

Thanks guy, has been reassuring reading this thread after the first couple of posts said his job was not really that perfect.
I guess he improved with time :)Going to bring him a Holdsworth Mistral for paint + full set of decals (quoted at £105, so not bad).
I think I'll go RAL 3005 - Wine red. Will post pictures as soon as I get it, take it there and back.
Here's the frame as it is now:

What kind of frames are you looking for ?
I've got a racing frame (check my Venom Racing Bicycles thread) which I think would go + some cash?
Also got a Holdsworth Mistral frame, which needs re-painting though and I am in the process of having it powder coated (wet paint sounds expensive :( - the folks at Mercian just completed a FULL renovation of a Mistral for £675! ).Let me know if either one of those options appeals you.

This is how it looked this morning, I realised I didn't put pictures with grey seat post.
These days I've removed rack and mudguards, so you can see it in all of its splendor.http://www.flickr.com/photos/anidel/sets/72157643568987144/

Small price drop to justify the bump too:
£390 as it is
£370 with 'original' saddle
£300 with 'original' setup (no Ergo saddle, no Marathons, black seat post, no mudguards, no rack)PS: The Ferrari in the picture is not free, as it is a car I'll pay you a fee to take it! ;)
So cool, hand't I picked up the Holdsworth I'd taken this. Albeit frame + restoration is quite a steep price.
Lovely nonetheless
