^^ I got the seatpost collar on my v2, really happy with it. Got a stem lock too in a moment of paranoia. But now I feel really confident about locking it up anywhere.

Cool thanks, good to know. I've been cycling through it for about a year now and it's only the first time I've had any bother.

Coming home tonight, at York Way outside the guardian building. I was in the right hand lane going straight on. At the lights changed I moved on, then looking over my shoulder to merge to the left. There is a black Astra in the space coming towards me, I'm looking and signalling left, saying "really?" to myself. He then drops back and speeds past.

At the next junction he's slowing waiting for me. As I draw level he's asking "Whats that you said mate? What you mumbling?". Once I tell him, he's like "Yeah really mate." And launches into a rant about how I should stay in the cycle lane where I belong, how he's pissed off as he's had a bad day. He doesn't need this crap on his way home.

As I try to point out that there is no cycle lane at that section and that I was in the right lane. He tells me how he "Doesn't give a fck" and that he'll "knock me out". At this point I say fair enough as I notice his hand is on the door handle and I don't really want to get into a fight.

As the lights change I can hear him saying to his mate in the car how he "doesn't give a fck". I wait for him to drive off (he doesn't notice the light is green straight away), before trying to make a note of his number plate.

I'm fairly sure I'm not in the wrong here with my use of the lanes, but I've not checked the highway code yet. I also don't think I've got enough to report it to the police, which is annoying.

Spotted and shared a nod with a bloke outside of one of the new coffeeshops in Crouch End this morning, around 7.30. Couldn't make the bikes, but saw deep white rims and a spoked wheel.

I tried to catch you on the way down, but I was basically just being lazy and used my brake.

Also Hi to the girl on the purple 26er on the rise this morning. I was on my Brooklyn. The 26er looked like a fun bike to ride, perhaps not on the hills though!

Passed a bearded chap and was passed back on a green/white fixie heading up horsey rise this evening about 18.15.

On some racks I can't get the drive side crank through the lock and have taken to locking the non-drive side, like above.

Any downsides to this method?

Really enjoying riding mine, in the recent wind and rain its felt solid and planted where as my previous frame (charge plug) always felt a bit skittish.

Might be a while 'til I get it built up but here she is for now, fresh off the boat.
