Shared an 'on here' look with a guy with dreads heading up Greys Inn Road. I was on my Brooklyn.

Met markypoos in Crouch End last night, hi again, nice to briefly chat.

Quite like that paint. The sparkle looks quite subtle.

I've bought some On-One High Flange hubs and I'm looking to lace them up to H+Son TB14. I've measured the hubs and used the published ERD for the rims (haven't bought the rims yet). The calculator is telling me I need 295mm spokes, but I can't find them anywhere (checked rose bikes, bike24, hibikes..). I was hoping to use DT Swiss Alpine III.

Would it be sensible to use 294mm with a 14mm nipple, or will 294 with 12mm be ok? Or should I keep searching for 295?

I do this far too often. Chain and chainline related issues are not my favourite thing to deal with.

I bought this from philgresty. It's a 14bikeco 14r, 853 steel with a carbon fork.

Since this is meant to be a cheap, saving my money month, I had to get signoff from the wife before purchase.

Got a few bits and a few bits to buy, but the plan is to make it my nice weather city fast bike. Cannot wait to get it out on the road. Thinking I might need to borrow some bits from the Brooklyn for a test ride.

New front wheel sorted. Took it for a spin today, really happy with how it's riding.

^What he said about Church Hill. I've done it in a winter on my road bike and Rourke running 23mm tires and it was fine. I did care less about potholes riding Gangsta last time.

I think the 14th works for me too. I've got a DJ Shadow + James Lavelle gig in London in the evening, but doesn't start till late.

Yellow lo pro and a black makino with gold decals. Around 1pm outside the Yorkshire Grey on Greys Inn road. Didn't DAS as the makino was already whipskidding it into the cycle box. Nice looking bikes though.

Yeah I think most weekends in mid June are good for me. Prefer a Saturday :)
