If you're planning to ride it, get clinchers to run on a road. If it's going on a wall, take your time and find what you really want.

Looking at the rest of your build, considering new wheels, somehow I feel it deserves nicer cranks.
Just personal though, it's your bike, please do what you think is best.

Looks much better fit this way, can't wait to put drops on mine. Even risers feel weird to me, sweep back ones must bring everything even closer.
Also considering a front brake in a future, but will look out for carbon fork.

Have you got a shim between bars and stem? It felt like mine slipped today.

Hope it's not to damaged and you could build it into a fun ride.

I've missed out on sparkles, but got a pearl finish and it also appears to be fully chromed.

Good to hear you enjoy riding it, that's the only thing that should matter. Sounded a little like you struggling to find a good fit with it.

I've not made up my mind on hubs yet. Would like Royce, LF Mack, DA 7710 or LF Dia Compe in that order of preference. TB14 or Archetype are likely choices for rims.

Mine still feels strange, angles are steeper than anything I've ridden in a while.
Rourke was similar, but I almost don't remember how did it feel to ride.

Wheels are not ordered yet as I haven't made up my mind on what I want exactly. I'm not in a huge rush either, so something nice may came along in classifieds.

I think Vivalo was trying to question HHC's mad idea of it being too good to build, too good to go on a wall.

I'll be swapping wheels for silver with low flange hubs, it'll work then. For now it will do.

That wheel was in there only temporary, all my tires fitted correctly when being used.

Just finished making it rideable. Failed to buy a pretty chain, most things will change, got a Soma Highway One and Ritchey quill stem in the post.

After many years of riding british build frames only I've given in and got something different this time. Not very common to see NJS and Reynolds 853 mentioned together, I've only seen pictures of about 5 of them and one of them in real life (Matt Cramptons' Makino). There must be more.

Still missing few parts to make it rideable, but it should be on a road in a few days.
