It looks like 14th, 21st and 28th of June are free dates and are not clashing with other rides.
I'm kinda keen on doing it today or tomorrow, to check out those last 8 miles along the path. If anyone wants to join this weekend for a little test, let me know. -

Beautiful Rossin track frame, bright colours. Drops and 90mm or so deep carbon rear popping on the train at acton central. Looked very on here until I saw it freewheeling...
Last night on the overground on a lovely pink(?) lopro and deep black profile rims. It was late and i was drunk and my colleague was herding us out. I think it was Canada Water Station.
Deep rims seem very popular on trains.

I know the route up to the point I didn't go before, it's the one dimi3 showed us last year. About last 10 km we could take a detour along the path going closer to the water, some of it can be seen when you take the train back between Southend and South Benfleet. What's the bit where people will need bigger tires.

I did get out on Sunday to Leigh-on-Sea and back, passing the route I wanted. It's pretty amazing once you turn of the main roads. My guess would be that part only is doable in a dry weather, as it looks like it's getting very muddy when wet.

Oh, and there is this on a way:
