Shimano M088 SPD Mountain Bike shoes. Used these for commuting but got another pair given my flat feet. Size 44 - almost no wear on the insoles as I used a different pair of insoles. Some tears here and there but plenty of life left - comes with the metal bit to secure the cleats. £10 ono - SOLD

Thanks for the response. Was just thinking of a bike specific tool set ... There are some tools that don't exist in the home kits such as chain breakers, chain tools, etc - not sure what else I'll need but thought it might be more economical to buy a bike set instead.

I'm wondering what the best tool set recommendation is bikes... Something that is the best bang for the buck and that is of good quality. I don't need every single tool out there and can't have it take much space but would be good to have enough tools to cover many of the frequent tasks when servicing a bike.

During the summer I saw a guy with a bike stand and box of tools on the corner of Northchurch Road and Southgate road offering bike maintenance for donations.

Hi - i need to buy new mtb shoes. I currently use Shimano M088 shoes. They're OK however the fit isn't that good. My foot is flatter than most and isn't that 'tall' (not length of the shoe but the height of it - not sure what this is called!)

Does anyone have any suggestions on some shoes I should look into? Thank you

Thanks for the tips - I like the genesis however it's their first entry into carbon this year...not sure how good the carbon quality is. though the reviews seem to really like the frame and it's properly upgradable (eg their most expensive model has the same frame as base model)

Thanks all for the responses - the focus looks OK however I don't like the paint job on most of the new 2015 models... too many stripes or marketing on it... any simple frame suggestions? Looking for one that is simply all black - thanks

OK so overnight I took the following steps:

• Factory reset the Edge Touring unit
  
• Updated the maps via Garmin Express (maps installed on SD card)
  
• Re-downloaded fresh courses from ridewithgps.com and exported .GPX (track) files
  
• Copied the .gpx files to the garmin device memory (not SD)
  
  

This morning's commute, I turned the Garmin on and it automatically found a course - as one of the .gpx files I exported was "home to work". As I was cycling it was giving me turn-by-turn prompts, however, STILL 35-40 ft off. As I'm approaching a road it's still telling me I've got 35-40 ft left before the turn.

Any further suggestions?

Thanks - installed Garmin Express and now sync/updating. Currently says ">3hours remaining" (!)
