Hello Mac heads. I am buying a 2010 used macbook pro for £200 from a mate. The trackpad doesn't work to click and the battery is shot so only works plugged in. Not bothered about the trackpad as I prefer to use a mouse anyway, but what options do I have with replacing the battery? How much does it cost?

It looks good but I would recommend settling in with a few days in Bangkok first before hopping straight on a flight the next day. The jet lag from flying to Asia is not to be underestimated. It will give you a few days getting familiar with your surroundings and doing some sight seeing in the city before experiencing the contrast with Chiang Mai.
I would then fly/travel in to an already familiar Bangkok at the end of the trip for just a day before flying out.

I have been cycling for three years and have plowed on through the last few winters, except on the coldest and frostiest days. As such, I've never been drawn to purchase a turbo trainer or rollers.
I now have a pretty serious back operation coming up and would need to be getting back into cycling very slowly. I will have access to a gym as part of my physio, so the first machine I'm likely to be drawn to will be the cycling machine.
I've always wondered why so many people opt for a turbo trainer as opposed to a cycling machine so thought I would get some opinions.
The benefits I can think of for a turbo would be the fact you can do your workout on your own bike, setup how you like, whereas with a cycling machine you usually only have saddle height and perhaps bar height to adjust. For these type of workouts over a few months of the year is this not enough for an average cyclist? I can see more of the fun with rollers but I won't be able to risk falling off for a while.
Can you really not get exactly the same benefits from a cycling machine? If you were already a member of a gym that would be a good enough reason not to purchase an additional machine in a turbo or rollers to take up room in your home. If you weren't a gym member, then cycling machines themselves are fairly inexpensive, take up less room and don't require you to relegate a bike to the turbo for a few months.

My friend recently busted his old Mavic MA2 700c wheel beyond repair and is looking for a replacement. He has a 6 speed setup and finding a quality new wheel with a traditional threaded hub seems to be very tricky, all I can find are track wheels or no brand wheels for £35.
Does anyone have any tips on where to get hold of a wheel of similar quality to replace his old?
