Anyone know what this is? I have never seen one before, it scurried across the floor of our tent a few moments ago. It was about 3cm long and pretty aggressive, here it is in its full 'come and have a go' pose'

Are you spinning control vinyl? Are you already using those management programmes that Airhead mentions? I wish I’d thought a bit more about how to organise my digital files and what file types to use before I started ripping all my CDs last year. I really like using Rekordbox.

I haven't look at those systems. All of my rips and stored music is on my NAS but it is all a bit of a mess, I need to sort it out!

I am in the process of setting up my two 1210's again after many years. I cannot remember what mixer or amp I used to use. The mixer was a cheapo and the amp a Sony that I knicked off of my dad.

How are you all set up? Mixer with phono stage or separate phono stages into a mixer and into an amp...or something else?

I'll let it off then!! I hate Horse Flies!!

Reminds me of a party we went to:

I am from Bristol and many years ago (probably 1991/2) we went to a Spiral Tribe rave in Canary Wharf. We followed a convoy to get there and then everyone walked to where the soundsytem was and we tagged along.

Just as we got to the party the pigs broke it up and everyone dispersed and we found ourselves in the middle of a building site not having a clue where we were.

It took us about 5 hours to find the car again (around 8AM!!).

Anyone able to recommend a decent slim mixer?

I saw this spider this morning, it is just outside of our living room window and had spun a web in a rose bush. It caught my eye later because a bee had flown into the web and the spider was frantically wrapping it up! By the time I got out with a camera he was settling down for a meal.

Just below is another spider and a leaf blew into its web, it went to investigate, decided it wasn't tasty and cut it free from the web!

I am in a similar situation, trying to get my gear set up again. I have two 1210's and limited space, I could really do with a decent slimline mixer. I have a perfect place but my wife is not keen! I need my boys to move out so that I can reclaim a bedroom!

I was thinking of screwing a larger piece of wood onto an existing piece of furniture as an interim solution.
