Due to a change in life situation I've decided I no longer want to have a stuffed parts bin "just in case". I'm down to just two bikes (and a wallhanger), and not looking to add anything to that in the foreseeable future. So no more need to have spares for when I happen to run into a bargain I impulsively decide to buy / build / rebuild. It's not incredible, but could be of use for people looking to build up something Italian for not a lot of money.

Remember when NJS was cool? Minor marks from lacing up, but in very goodcondition. Went unused because it wasn't NJS stamped so I bought another, not sure what was wrong with me.

Carbon Ultratorque Centaur Crankset 172.5mm with ITA Bottom Bracket - SOLD
Comes with two 50t, a 39t, and a 34t chainring. Definitely comes with the weird chainring bolt and spacer, I should have another 4 chainring bolts to include.

Centaur 10 speed shifters - SOLD
Come off a CX bike, so a tad rough but still shift fine.

Centaur 10 speed rear derailleurs - SOLD
One with a small piece of carbon for superior stiffness, the other one a bit more traditional.

Just took delivery of this, having a go next monday. There currently is blue Schwalbe rim tape on the rims, I'll probably want to take that off and clean the rims before applying Stan's yellow tape? And planning to inflate with a Topeak Joe Blow Sport II, and take them to work to use the compressor if that doesn't work. Anything I should know before embarking on this adventure?

You'd think they can't stand by him anymore when he does that, but they never fail to amaze so they just might.

I got a pretty good deal on it and it's replacing two other bikes I'm now selling, so it's been a while getting to this bike. And I barely drink, quite a difference when I compare my living expenses to my fellow students.

And yes, Eindhoven! I'm in the Industrial Design bachelor, but halted it for a year to build a solar car. :)

Fixing up my old roadbike to get it roadworthy again, been gathering dust for over a year. Had to drill it out the chainring bolts as the torx sockets were rounded out, and replaced the broken shifters with a set of slightly less broken shifters. Going to gut the left shifter and run it as a 1x10.

We’re such a progressive country. Some idiots even invaded a primary school a couple days back to protest against the school’s ban against “Zwarte Piet”. During school hours, handing out stickers to the kids and everything. Posting shit like this is way too close to supporting those racist and backwards conservatives.

I did look into its history, but never considered it to be something special. Been my daily bike for about 4-5 years now. :\ It's still in pretty good condition though, so I might turn it into a "nice" bike some day. But for now I don't have the space for another wallhanger, so I'm afraid it will continue to be a winterbike. I do store it in a shed overnight, if that's any consolation.

SKS Commuters were quite okay to put on, haven't done the neatest job but it's fine for now. Did have to file out the slot in the front fender brake nut bracket because it didn't fit, maybe should have just installed #brklss ?

They're shit, don't have adjustability or swappable lenses. Not nearly as good as the 15 dollar Foakleys.

Other way round is more logical, no? Fat tires on small rims for mud, slimmer tires on big rims for gravel?

Thoughts on this tubeless kit? This rim tape seems to be easier to install than the tape I'd get with Stan's NoTubes kit, but is it as good?
