Hello,
ive received a second hand chris king bottom bracket. I believe it has come off a shimano hollowtech crankset. I think when they are new they come with washers and gubbins so the can be adapted to fit GXP. does anybody have the washers and gubbins ling around. Or if this isnt the case, can anyone advise me on what i need?

As the title says, im after a set of 1 inch carbon forks with straight blades, at least 250mm of steerer, which i would like to be carbon or at least alloy. I dont mind what brand. im wanting to know whats out there and what sort of prices people are after. I would be replacing a pair of time stiletto forks in cracking condition, so i would be willing to swap.

Hello all,
first off, I dont actually have anything to sell, so apologies if im breaking any forum rules, but im also NOT after any money / deposits or details from anybody, im merely after a reply to this expressing interest. Im in need for a 25mm carbon seatpost. It would appear that anything under 27.2mm is like rocking horse poo. I have a quote from a manufacturer who is happy to knock me one up, but its not worth them doing 1. So, i was wondering if anybody would be interested in which case i could stick in a minimum order. They would be 25.0mm outside diameter at the bottom, and would flair to 27.2mm at the top for 30mm allowing for a saddle clamp to be attached. the whole post would be approx 280mm. The manufacturer are in the UK and a request for a seatpost didnt seem foreign to them, so i assume they would comply with safety standards, but im not responsible if they snap.

Ok, i might be interested. Can you please confirm that it is 27.0mm and not 27.2mm as carbon in 27.0 is rare as rocking horse poop and ill be pleasantly surprised if Pro Lite did them. and also, is that a crack about half way down on the second photo? And as above, what is the max insertion and how long is the bladed bit?

it seems to be only visible on the braking surface rather than the rim itself so that might just be the case. the LBS said it wasnt anything to worry about and that he would ride on it happily. I would have probably cracked on and ridden on them as i assume that because the wheels are dead true, it mustnt be structural, but the wife bought me a new pair of krysiums, so these are going to fund parts for the latest build.

I have up for grabs, my Mavic Cosmic wheelset. Both wheels are true and straight and the hubs run smooth and lovely. They are the early 2000's edition of the wheels in a lovely brushed alloy. The old school yellow decals didnt really fit the build for which it was meant, so they came off to be replaced by 2013 decals. the wheels are fairly light and very aero. I believe the rims were possibly the same as the CXP33's but with less spokes, but I may be wrong.
the front wheel is as good as new, the back wheel appears to have what may or may not be a hairline crack at the weld. ive ridden on this and the wheel has stayed true, so I assume its not structural. I dont mind chucking in some Mavic Yksion tyres also. they are brand new and havent been used at all.
All for £100 excluding postage
Or, i will trade for some black carbon cranks, either GXP or Octalink, but they will need to be in reasonable condition. SRAM force is the dream, but im open to offers. dont really mind if compact or standard.
Im away in Lake district from Monday until Saturday so will respond to any queries when I get wifi at the YHA. you can email me at thecraigbell at live dot com which will probably be quicker.

Has anybody got some carbon forks with straight blades please? Plain Black carbon or 3k carbon ideally with as few, or no decals, as possible. I need 250mm of steerer approx. I have some time stilleto forks that im happy to part exchange of wanted. They are in really good nick, they just dont suit my latest build.
