For sale is my 2014 51cm white Leader 735 frame, with Leader i805tr carbon forks.

I built this up into a single speed back in 2014, but only rode it for 50 miles before realising that it wasn't for me. It looked incredible but was a bit on the small side. It's a brilliant frame, lightweight alloy paired with the carbon forks would make for a great fixie, track bike or crit racer. It's wasted hung on my bedroom wall and I'd love to see it become something more than a decoration.

Condition is excellent, hardly ridden. Never bumped, knocked or scratched. There are some light marks where the seatpost and top tube join and on the right seat stay. They're not noticeable unless you're looking for them, I've attached some pictures. The forks are immaculate apart from the steerer being cut down. There's still a spacer in there so it's not completely slammed.

Included bits:
Espresso 48T Crankset, 165mm crank arm length. Very good condition. RRP £37
Origin 8 Pro Pulsion alloy track handlebars with rubber grips. Used condition, some wear. RRP £45
Shimano 105 front brake. Great condition.
Generic carbon seatpost.
Generic short stem to hold it all together, it's missing two bolts.

All together I'm looking to get £310, all offers on components will be considered.

I have a leader 735 for sale, all that's missing is the wheels which you could pick up fairly cheap. Looks ace built up!
I could also throw in a cheap saddle if needed.

A strong and true, deep section fixie/track wheelset. The set has a 16T flip flop hub so can be used as a fixed or free hub.

I'm selling due to lack of use (they've done maybe 50 road miles).

There are some small marks (pictured) around the rim of each wheel which are almost invisible from a distance. You have to be up close and at a certain angle to notice them. The wheels came from the factory like this and they do not affect performance.

These wheels retail on the Pure Fix website for $160 not including shipping.

I've just installed a chrome extension and I can now see the build. Some crazy looking components on it.

I'd be looking for a 54cm, I think the grey looks great. Not sure how that would work. I'd buy and post to you? The Alpina forks are for sale on the Dolan site

I'm not insisting on anything really, just wanting to hear opinions of those more in the know than me. Maybe when I come to building it I'll have a play around with what suits me and my riding.

Lighter tyres/more durable tubes - or - Durable tyres/lighter tubes

I think the gators I have at the moment are 25s or 23s, which are probably the widths I'd be happiest using.

If the final build is a little over 7kg but durable then I'll be happy.

The build was never meant as a hc build, just a project to see how light I could get a reasonably cheap fixed.

Even though I want it to be light, I don't want to be fixing punctures every time I go out. When it comes to durability I'd rather add a few grams if it meant not puncturing.

I have a set of gatorskin tyres, would these and latex tubes be enough to stay <7 while being fairly hardy?

Size of fork? I'm not sure, they're at home while I'm at uni. I don't think the steerer will be that long, I cut them down to slam the stem on my 735!

I've seen a lot of people using lighter tyres and tubes in these weight saving builds. Must be a good sign but I've always wondered whether durability is compromised?

I see, that makes sense. Heavy is the opposite to how I'd like the project to go but, going lighter than a pc would probably push me over budget.

That would be an option! Not something I've really considered. I wouldn't really know where to start with that but I'll have a look around for sure.

Bastards, can't imagine how a custom bike like that slips under the radar.
