@Bobbo and @Airhead any recommendations for interior wood paints? We are looking for something with good coverage and minimal VOC content and low odour for nursery furniture. What are your thoughts on these:

I admire your bravery and I seriously hope that you get some compensation, however my experience of the London market tells me that people are usually very very reluctant to let go of any £££ that they have already accounted for and that they will try to get away with blaming the process and say āthese things are normal in a chainā. Even if that happens, and it is difficult to swallow, think that it could have been much worse that a week delay. I know it doesnāt help now but once you are in the house it will all hopefully be worth it

@Jameo as @Mr_Smyth said, Zaid is seriously hardworking and a pleasure to deal with (unlike the state agents!). We have now recommended him several times and everyone seemed happy!
Fell free to send him a list of areas you might want him to pay extra attention to or that you are worried about.P.S: I don't get referral fees, he just saved us from buying a hyped turd in E17 and I can't thank him enough!

Ā£1 million is quite a lot. There are plenty of alternatives with less of a commute around that area, just no artisanal butchers or wealthy neighbors... but still the same park. I think the lack of alternatives are determined by someone's priorities. The whole South/West London isn't my cup of tea, bit too much golf club and peloton bike

Any community has basic conduct rules... @C4r1s just reminded you of the rules in a constructive way. It is quite easy, if you don't like it, and can't take any form of constructive feedback without overreacting, just find another place to advertise and sale
P.S: contrary to eBay this is free to use thanks membersā support. So far you are trying to keep the same price, pocket the difference⦠great deal for everyone!

I understand your frustration, it is a really really complicated process and it seems has been even more tricky for you... but you might find something better (and cheaper) and be in a more proceedable position in the near future. There will be more properties for sale in spring/summer and, hopefully, that will turn the tables.
Also, try to see things from their perspective (difficult, I know) they might need the money, or simply got tired of waiting and unfortunately things are made to work in their favor (nothing is final until exchange)
If you are really keen on this place your best chance might be to reach completion asap, so try to speed the process up as much as you can. If they waited this long they are nor that bad and you might still have a fighting chance

@billygoat28 the Fiskars weed puller is pretty good solution (no chemicals) and it is quite fun to use (gets addictive) https://www.diy.com/departments/fiskars-xact-weed-puller/1357677_BQ.prd
