That's interesting, I'm following doctor's orders on that dosing too. They've also put me back on the brown (inhaler) which I've stopped previously as it actually made me wheezy (and still is). Following my last appointment, the doctor said that in emergencies I could use the blue one 10 times which will apparently act in a similar way to a nebuliser. My peak flow is about 30% down on what it should be for my height and weight so it needs sorting one way or another.

I was diagnosed with sports induced asthma when I was 14, I played football to a decent standard through my teens and 20s and rarely had to use my inhaler. Only on very cold days/nights when I hadn't had time to warm up properly (coming off the bench for example).
Having got seriously into cycling in my early 30s my symptoms got far worse (coughing and wheezing after long/hard sessions). I now have four puffs of the blue one before every hard training session and every race, if I'm out for a long time or it's particularly cold I may need to use it again.
Given certain scenarios; significant drop in temperature and thinning air on a mountain stage along with a sudden hard effort I'm surprised more pros don't need to use an inhaler at that point, I reckon I would.
Also respiratory illnesses are a bugger when your asthma is playing up. I've had three chest infections of various degrees this winter (mainly due to a toddler in nursery, rarely had them before). Start with a cold and go straight to your chest. Two bouts of asthma steroids this winter just to keep me breathing properly. If I were a pro I can imagine I would have had to smash through the TUEs just to keep training properly, let alone race.

At a very rough guess based on experience, about 15% of people on the road are arseholes whatever their chosen mode of transport. Dulwich are pretty visible and I'm sure there are arseholes in the club.
Do the club read the comments? Of course they do and they try their best to adjust behaviour where inappropriate.
At a very rough estimate, about 50% of the people who respond in comments sections are arseholes. I tend not to read the comments personally.
I went on the Dun Run last year with four (club) mates. Pretty sure we were friendly, didn't barge anyone off the road etc etc etc, treated it like the lovely night ride to the coast that it was.
Will I be doing what? Never really done sportives, don't see the point personally. I like to race but do it in...a proper race environment. Is that ok with you?

My Club, Dulwich Paragon are pretty good at calling out dick cyclists who've been reported to the club, generally confirming that their membership will be terminated if they are identified. Dickhead bloke (usually blokes) in Dulwich kit on a black bike rarely narrows it down enough though. So report with good description if it's one of ours!

Interesting comments from Wiggins on Sharapova picked up in this article:
http://www.theguardian.com/sport/blog/2016/mar/11/maria-sharapova-aura-blemish-doubts-tennis
"Her own drug was unknown to most of us until this week. She took meldonium for 10 years, allegedly on prescription from her family doctor to treat a variety of ailments. But if there is one thing we know about athletes it is that even the non-cheats among them will explore any potential marginal gain in the effort to acquire an edge.
Bradley Wiggins gave an inadvertent glimpse into that mindset this week. Answering a question about Sharapova, he replied that he felt sorry for her but that there was no excuse for ignorance of the annual updates to the list of prohibited medications. Then he added: “British Cycling are really on the ball – Richard Freeman, the doctor – in terms of things that have been changed, saying: ‘Please don’t take this any more.’”
He was telling us that Britain’s top cyclists, famous for the zero-tolerance approach to doping imposed by their managers, are no strangers to substances that become banned. This might be thought to put them in a bracket with all those Russian skaters, ski jumpers and goodness knows who else who have been paying around £5 for a packet of 40 tablets of meldonium imported from Latvia for the last few years."

I found the Arione comfortable when in an aero position with pelvis rolled but far less so when more upright if taking it easy or climbing. Antares feels comfortable in every position. Think I have reasonably wide sit bones though which will be a factor. I have larger mates who generally have a less aero position who love the Arione though (they wouldn't let me touch their sit bones for comparison though).

Take your own booze! We headed to the Carrefour de l’Arbre the year before last expecting big screens and loads of booze. Unfortunately the latter was severely lacking apparently due to lairy fans in previous years. We ended up schlepping back down the route to the nearest village...which actually turned out really well, full bar of locals with a big screen. I'd recommend that too for the first part of the race...
If it's dry we'll be riding down from Oudenaarde to watch this year.

Of course it is acceptable. It flips the kind of peer pressure that was seemingly prevalent a few years ago on its head. Team mates get pissed off at you (the doper) as it means they miss key races. When contract renewals come around or its time to join a new team there may be pressure from teammates not to sign you as you're a risk to their aims...

I binned the formerly white, now yellow, socks that someone regularly uses then puts on the heated rack in the drying room at work, which along with their rancid bib-shorts then emits the stench of death throughout the room. I swear none of this kit is ever washed.
I did consider some passive aggressive signage but I think we're way past that point now.
Given the level of satisfaction that gave me I'm now also considering taking punitive action against the bibs.

Choice of quiet/gentle with Portland St/Brandon St or a bit quicker with Thurlow St/Flint St/Rodney Rd. You can follow the quiet route via Albany Park Edmond St/Benhill Rd then Camberwell Grove if you're coming from Dulwich way. Did Walworth Rd for the first time in a while last night as I was late for training. It still sucks.

One of the guys from my club has had a brand new Pinarello Dogma F8 stolen between being signed for and passed onto him at his office.
It's a size 53 in the naked/red colour scheme. It was in a Pinarello box with black and white tape wrapped around it.
Not exactly your standard brick lane fare but if anyone hears of anything that's too good to be true please let me know.

Correct location I think.
