Have Rapha changed the sizing to make people feel better? Trade team jersey last year in M: great fit. Pro Team jersey in M earlier this year: great fit around chest/shoulders but baggy around waste with room for a paunch. Long Sleeve jersey in M last week: sized like a baggy zip up jersey that I'd want to wear casually rather than anything I'd want to cycle in.

Why? Think it's very reasonable and a little surprised he got 6 months off. How he got the money to pay for it I don't know, but he did it all of his own back apparently and was competing at national level even after he got caught, denying others their moment of glory. His post getting popped comments 'I want to be more like Millar than Armstrong' mark him out as an egotistical prat, whatever his age.

The story was reported in El País, which quoted the Catalan interior minister, Jordi Jané, as saying that the banned blood booster EPO was found in six rooms along with anabolic steroids and 60 syringes. Six doctors from the IAAF, athletics’ world governing body, and officials from the Spanish Anti-Doping Agency were also present to carry out doping controls on 25 athletes.
Sounds like a late 1990s cycling bust. Athletes breaking world records and none of them testing positive...doesn't sound like the testing regime is working particularly well here.

http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/dr-bonar-whistleblower-says-doping-is-endemic-in-cycling/
Dan Stevens: During the three-month period in which he was taking the products, Stevens said he noticed "huge effects" and spoke of a "15 to 20 per cent performance gain". He added: "I saw an increase of probably 60 or 70 watts at my threshold power, which is massive."
Must be pretty gutting to be taking EPO, HGH and Thyroxin and still be a very average racer.
Also speculating on what the pro's could be taking and how endemic doping could be in amateur racing. Not downplaying the possibility of continuing extensive doping at all levels of cycling but; man buys drugs from man on internet, gets caught, appears before parliamentary committee. Not exactly expert witness standard is it.

The old A30? I'd stay well away from any of the major A roads in Cornwall (I grew up there). You can plot lovely back road routes most of the way down.
When riding down from London a few years ago I went across Dartmoor and crossed the border at Horsebridge (having lunch in the amazing old pub there - worth calling ahead) before taking the back lanes through Minions before hopping on the A38 for 10mins or so and then heading over to Bodinnick and the ferry over to Fowey. You could then head out along the Roseland coast towards the King Harry ferry at Falmouth and off via the lanes to Lands End.
The coast is far prettier than riding through clay country and it's quieter on the south.

-Tuna Jacket Potato
-Jacket PotatoYou can do one you snivelling crybaby. I want to the silence of my inner turmoil without the sound of someone chewing a comforting baked vegetable meal.

He is a massive twat, any further details please @amey? I'll pass them through to someone who'll do something about it.
@croft I take the view that about 10% of people in life are tossers. DP is a larger club therefore we have more tossers than ICC. You will also have tossers in your club, you may not know them, but they are there.

Depends how lean you are and what you're using it for I guess. I don't think I could loose much more weight but if I'm racing on a hilly course I'd defo want my SS HM over my Canyon Ultimate AL SLX. Reckon there's about 1 kg between them and both are kitted out fairly well. SS is stiffer but without doubt there is a certain placebo effect too.
My CAAD 10 ownership lasted all of 5 mins riding (before it was written off) so can't really comment on the CAAD 12's predecessor but the Supersix climbs beautifully. Mine is 6.3kg for a 54cm v the 56cm CAAD 12 Ultegra Disc 3 (8.34kg) or the non disc (7.5kg).
Looking at that you'd really notice a 2kg difference! (couldn't be arsed to search for 54cm weights).

If you're tackling alpine descents, that means you're also going up them. In which case 1kg is very noticeable. As nice as the CAAD 12 may be, I also wouldn't want to drop £2k on an alu bike.
I'd hunt around for an older Supersix model on discount. I picked up the 2013 HM for around that last year, and tire clearance aside (I'd like more!) I'm very happy with it.
Had a Hermes driver repeatedly threaten to kill me and hit me with his van yesterday in Soho after I had the audacity to shake my head at him after he cut in front of me while I was maintaining a safe gap to the car in front. Pretty sure I got the whole number plate, best to just report to Hermes or anything else? Not on camera or anything but a club mate did happen to see the end of the incident...
