BlockquoteAlso, somebody PMed me about a plain black one during the period which will be known as the dark ages and I said I'd get back to them once I was sure I'd have one for sale; since those PMs vanished in the transfer to microcosm and I can't remember the user name, please make contact again.
That was me.
I will re-pm you.

haha. there's a star beside the screen-name, indicating, that he's a donor to the forum. Also, checking the profile, he has 685 posts, several threads started, with lot of sold items, and you can check those threads via taking a glance at the public profile.
definitely new to the boards and has zero experience with selling-sending stuff. ; )
Geezer, it was not your money at stake.

no probs, man, i just got a bit crazy about that Fignon chap and his paypal dispute after 2 days.. well, sorted now. so i'm 5'11 and my inseam (hardcover book method) is around 86cms
Ok, Fignon chap here...
I have received the components and the items are as described, they came within a week of posting and overall i'm happy with the deal.
The reason for my starting the dispute was this. anyone who deals with me here or anywhere else will get payment from me as soon as a deal is closed.
However i of course realise that people cannot post items immediately but the least one can do is acknowledge receipt of payment, as a courtesy if nothing else.I paid on the Monday and heard nothing back until i kicked off the dispute on the Friday, fact. in the meantime though HMA was posting here and the thing that really triggered my doubts was the fact that the original post advertising the items had been deleted from the forum. I don't know how that happened perhaps the Mods did it who knows?
So here i am sitting in London thinking i've paid a complete stranger in eastern Europe not a small amount of money and this is how the situation is playing out...yes i got spooked.
I want to say in conclusion that HMA did come through very well on the deal however and I do believe he's an honest fellow. I regret in hindsight that I doubted his integrity and if he's not too pissed off with me i would buy from him again.
So, the moral of this tale is communication. If someone hands over their hard earned dosh say thanks and let them know the score, it saves a lot of grief and anxiety.
Fignon.

looks like two bikes grafted together!
They used to call that concept 'Cut 'n shut' back in the day. When dodgy back street garages would take two different cars of the same model that had been insurance write-offs, cut both vehicles in half and then weld the two good ends back together.
Used to come apart at the seams with predictable consequences however.
Dunno if they still do that sort of thing these days.

I'm quiet intrigued by the twists and turns on this. In my mind what messes up the aesthetics are the rising up handlebars, all bikes look shit with risers.
With a low stack and some drop handlebars, perhaps even bull horns this would look mean 'n fast.
Some tasteful fluro would help as well.
Fignon.
