Firstly, congratulations to @bobble snr and jnr! Catching salmon and sea trout on fly or lure is quite something. My annual trip to the Lyn is in a fortnight and apparently the river is currently full of grilse, they doubtless will have disappeared by the time I get there. I haven't bothered to fish the last five years I've been down.
On the brighter side, just got back from 24 hrs on the syndicate lake. 14 carp, 3x 20s and 5 tench to 7 exactly, ridiculous fishing! Also had a rare mirror, there's probably only about 20 in the whole 50 odd acres. Also had my first visit to the Darent for 2 months, my wife hasn't been well so travelling any distance has been out.

Don't chuck it over Beachy, some poor bastard will have to check it for occupants. I only know this because a Sierra Sapphire company car went that way in the 90s. My mate was due a Merc, but the goalposts for age/mileage etc were shifted, it took a long drop bath.
We found out about the having to be checked thing later and almost felt bad.

My wife hasn't been well, so when she went for a lie down at 5.00 I presumed she hadn't fed the dogs. At 5.30 I fed them and walked them. Yep,they had already been fed. I wondered why they were less enthusiastic about food than normal. But did they say 'thank you, but I have already dined royally', did they fuck.
So now, at 11pm I shall walk four farting, belching, overinflated barrage balloons until they can be trusted not to leave the kitchen knee deep in shite.

On Tour form Vingegaard will beat him comfortably, on current form Roglic has an excellent chance, nobody told Ayuso he's there to make up the numbers. Jumbo have easily the strongest team and the potential to work over any other leader, Quickstep's team is weak. There's plenty of outliers, probably not Thomas, who aren't beaten yet either.
Should be the best Grand Tour of the year, again.

The Keith Earls try was more joyous and creative a moment than anything England have managed in certainly the last three games, quite possibly the last three years. Farrell and Vunipola are indeed shithouses thoroughly deserving red.
Until England realise that backs are not purely decorative or at best auxiliary forwards, the English game is fucked. It comes to something when the commentators gleefully mention that an England wing touched the ball in the first half.
Borthwick appears to be Eddie Jones on Mogadon. The game has moved on, some years ago, England haven't.

I haven't owned a mechanical watch since the mid 70s, it was a Seiko automatic which was comprehensively minced by a parkie with a tractor mower when on a jumper used as a goalpost.
Fast forward nearly 50 years, I have just ebayed a Tissot PRX automatic which is the absolute image of the annihilated item, but with a different dial colour (even the gridded dial is identical).
Hardly the ratified stuff which fuels this thread, but coming soon to a wrist near you.
The best medicine is you, constant reassurance. Every dog varies in character, from laid back through on edge to bloody bonkers, I have enjoyed 7 generations of different characters. You can't alter their character, but you can moderate it.
