Looking for silver front and rear derailleurs for my Canondale tourer, planning to run DT friction shifters so can be Campagnolo or Shimano in 8,9 or 10 speed. Short or medium cage for the rear and 31.8 band on for the front.

Also looking for DT shifters, friction or indexed.

Not after anything special but in good condition please.

I’m not in London so postage will probably be required if and when possible.

Currently replacing skirting board and found these areas of detached plaster by the front door.

What’s the best way to repair before the new skirting can be attached?

There’s also a noticeable draught coming through that I’d like to stop as well.

Expanding foam in the cavity to stop the draught followed by layers of filler?

After painting my garage/workshop floor I’m starting to renovate the workbench. I’ll strip of the old paint that the previous owner used and then think about what finish to go for. Loving the patina look so far. Why do people over up such good looking wood?

1, Miche 10 speed 12-25T cassette with spacers and lock ring (not shown). Less than 1000 miles so very good condition. £22.50.

2, Unknown (Miche or BBB?) 10 speed 12-25T cassette, NO spacers or lock ring. Mileage unknown but all teeth look good. £15.00.

3, Campagnolo 10 speed 13-26 cassette. NO spacers or lock ring. Mileage unknown but all teeth look very good. £17.50.

4, Campagnolo/unknown 9 speed 12-23 cassette. NO spacers or lock ring. 21 & 23T sprockets aren’t stamped as Campagnolo but the rest are. Mileage unknown but all teeth look very good. £15.50.

I use the M151F on all my bikes now, by far the best compact bar I’ve tried. The 42cm measure up the same width as the 44cm Noodles that I was using. Highly recommended.

Just back from working in Cyprus over Christmas, fortunately it wasn’t particularly busy, the weather was excellent with only one day of rain and I had my beloved Brian Rourke with me. From the end of November to the middle of January I managed 46 rides totalling 2053 miles in 144 hours with 116,300 feet of climbing including two century rides.

First ride on the parts bin special to the off-licence for cider. I’m ashamed to say that I’ve had this frame for over two years now and have only just got around to fixing the downtube shifter mounts and putting it together.

Next job is wider tyres, a longer/nicer chain and Some mudguards.

Great to be back on downtube shifters and a ‘dale.

Yeah, it was the amount of cable pull that I’m concerned about to cover the range of the cassette.
