Shame abt chrome bars and braking surface otherwise looks good. Black understated components on yours should work, spesh after she starts to tarnish.

First discs I've used (your suggestion... Maybe Dammit's?) and so far so good. They will be tested properly next weekend.
Loads of club rides around Singapore, mainly fast loops 60-150km. For bigger rides with hills we go to Batam or Bintan - large islands pretty close by on a ferry.

There's something very special about waiting a long time for something unique. I picked up my bike from Tom this afternoon and I was blown away at how great it looked.
When you walk in to Toms workshop/studio you sort of wind your way through a few dark corridors, then - at last - you walk into a really well lit workshop and the bike is on a stand, middle of the floor, pride of place. Such a great intro to the bike!
I will post picks in due course but ride home was better than I could have hoped for. The whole process has been awesome!

^^^^^^ That was me (ref packing up bike in box for flight) just picked up box from local lbs and am off to BnQ over weekend for pipe insulation and bubble wrap. Will report back... Thanks again for photos.

In the volumes that you would be ingesting, you will not get any ingredient. No active ingredient, no physiological response, no remedy.
Ok so homeopathy isn't immoral like the anti-immunisation lot but it is unethical.

Goddam I love this bike!!
Got abt 3.5k on her now, everything dialled in nicely. Points to note:
The instructions on the HYRD discs are awful! Took me ages to work out out there was a 2.5mm alan behind the reservoir that dials in the lever pull distance. Once I worked that out the brakes came alive.
This bike descends beautifully. Combination of archetypes and slightly longer chain stays makes it amazingly poised. Again it took a while, but once I found my perfect pressure for the conti 4seasons it really made a difference (95/108, front/back).
The enve fork is awesome, light, stiff and inspires confidence but I wish it had a little more clearance. I'd love to be able to put on some 30mm tyres for some of the rougher roads out here.

Off to Taiwan in August for a weeks fast touring and china to rise around Qinghai Lake in 2 weeks. If the last 4 months are anything to go by this bike will bring many many years of joy...
