Had some kind of dimwit pull up to the edge of a side road, watch me ride towards him along the main road and just slowly crept out in front of me. I shouted a 'woah' as I got closer and he shouted back 'I seen ya!'. Asked him why he continued fucking pulling out then.
Grips my shit when drivers think it's ok to roll out into the road, no way of telling whether or not they're aware of my presence. Just sit tight and move those extra couple of feet once I'm past.
This... all the time. I try staring them in the eyes as I go past but not sure it makes any sod of a difference.

I had to drive into the office this morning (meeting out of town later) and saw a car behaving extremely aggressively towards cyclists. It was a black Hyundai i30, reg EF10 XNL being driven by a woman with long brown hair.
In the 5 minutes her car was near mine, she swerved towards two cyclists (clipping one with her wing mirror), spat at another one but missed, and tried to crush another one up against the rear of a bus.
A couple of minutes later, she ended up behind me a the queue and spent the entire time texting / reading things on her phone.
Eventually, she sped off at a rate of knots, nearly knocking off a scooter driver.
Obviously I want to report her as she's clearly a danger to others but to who?
Any ideas?
http://www.lfgss.com/thread36761.html - or your local police force. Unlikely to do anything without evidence or clear harm, but she might have had complaints before.

even if you've a £300 wheel and there's a piece of shit £100 bike?
don;t think people are idiots for not having cable locks: they offer no protection from an half-equipped thief.
good to hear people are confident in the atomics.agree re the g-lock, but the BiKLOX looks great.
if you undo the crank it's unlikely you'll get it off the spindle. if you manage to the bike is still effectively immobilized by the device cutting across the spokes.Well obviously there aren't good stats on this but I just feel a cable lock is a light visual deterrent wheras the atomic prevents the actual theft (but not damage). Visual is very important when tea leafs are scoping your bike out...
^ fair enough, but I'd worry that it still has all the issues of being low visibility therefore "tempting" someone and drawing attention. One reason why kryptos work I think is their bright well known colours (oh - an orange/yellow barrel, won't bother with that one).

Unfortunately neither of them is any good :(
The first one seems to just be a more complicated D-lock and the second essentially pointless since it doesn't secure the bike and is defeated by manouvres like undoing a crank...

Yeah over thinking. They will go for someone without even a cable firstly (there's always an idiot about), and just having two methods will mean they scope it out and see the atomics. You're probably ok with that. Although NB the 4-series doesn't qualify for "locks that work", although it's stronger than many things used by a lot of people

What is 'oxygen debt'?
Who first coined the phrase?http://www.etymonline.com/index.php?term=anoxic&allowed_in_frame=0 Is the closest I can get.
Probably some kind of sports physiologist. If you're actually asking what is it, it seems to mean the total amount of oxygen required post-exercise to return all respiratory systems to normal homeostasis.

Hi all,
Got two tickets for this Sunday's Wireless fest in the Olympic Park featuring such big names as Jay Z, Justin Timberlake, and Will.I.Am.
Full disclosure - I got these gratis off Tower Hamlets - but am not all that interested in the bands so happy to pass them on to someone that might be more keen. But considering they are £167 to buy and I'm poor as the proverbial mouse what lives in a church...
£80 for both? Or offers. Cheers.

So, it's my birthday on Monday (also a 3hr exam with another couple on the tues, yippee)
Will probably get a little bit of money from various uninventive relatives, and since my el cheapo 7dayshop one broke, I'm in the market for a camera to be the new traffic droid. Any clues for something cheaper than a go pro but better than something for 30 quid off ebay?
Sportpursuit has the less featured version of this http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/accessories/gadgets/helmet-cams/product/review-gobandit-live-video-camera-12-46565 on for £99 which seems like a steal. Anyone got one?
