What about a Factory 5?
the prototypes for the new one looks really nice http://prollyisnotprobably.com/2013/04/beautiful-bicycle-tylers-factory-5-low-pro-track/#10 quite cannondale track-like though
well the guy who makes them couldn't provide any real info on geometry. All he said about geometry - If seat tube is 57cm, then top tube is too and it's like that for all sizes.
Thought he replies in russian and if u don't know russian - it won't be easy to get frame.master i got a bit of info when i enquired:
"Hey! It's just fantastic, that we have finaly managed to push to Europe. Because it was a really hard way!
So, the lowest price is 490Euro, including pouder framepainting (you may choose colors in RAL catalogue), integrated seat lock, taxes, fairs and delivery cost.
Technical charts:
Wheel base: 95sm, if fork rake 4.5sm,
Head tube angle 76'.
Seat tube angle 76'.
BB bsa.
Seat stay 27,2, fork 1,1/8
Best regards. "Obviously English isn't there first language but it's better than nothing, it gives you a rough idea, 76degrees on both (still not sure on this as generally they change with size, but should be about that for medium sizes) and square geo, i'm saving for one but it will take a while, plus i'd rather wait for a bit and find out about tubing (more than "aircraft aluminium") etc. but apparently they weigh 1.3-1.4kg depending on size. If that's true and the tubes aren't noodles then it's got to be something decent.
Cbass your question can be answered only by tp88
this.
re the original question, it's a frame that will divide opinion more than most, personally i like them but not enough to justify the pricetag, if you feel you can, go for it.
Andrew Low could stop making them at some point too, or change the geometry or start outsourcing or something like that and then you'd kick yourself. Personally i'd rather a pelizolli, or a nice cannondale track-a-like, but they still do look really nice imo

Ater some advice on spoke length. Bilding some novatec bdw's onto halo rims with sapim race spokes, rear is 36 hole and front 32 hole, both are gonna be 3x. Using this guy: http://leonard.io/edd/ my front spoke length should be 283, and rear should be 278.6 .
Sapim race spokes only come in even numbers from where i'm getting them, so, how long should my spokes be, you're meant to go down aren't you so 282 and 278?
Also that calculator assumes 14mm nipples but the sapim polyax's that come with the spokes are 12mm, i've done a bit of research and apparently the threading is the same length so no change to spoke length, can anyone confirm this?

lo pro bars that could be something nice that goes for dirt cheap, might be worth a shot

that would be the best idea hugo (and would you look at that! i have a system ex hub and some bearings to make them more spinny here: http://www.lfgss.com/thread107196.html ) and it would still look really classy, nothing like a shiny silver wheelset on an old frame.

Right, i recieved the bag yesterday and it's just too big for my needs, looks a bit ridiculous on me to be honest. So i'm selling it again, exactly the same price i bought it for - £125. Decided to use this thread as i didn't see the point in starting a new one. Dibs then PM and we can go from there :)

ah fair enough christian, i just thought that there was a fair bit of cylindrical space that looked like spacers
and ed i was thinking along the lines of eventually poyzer will probably realise that this would be really nice build up as a roadie and get a seperate fixed bike, if he wanted to put this wheelset on the fixed then it would be helpful to be able to change it to 120mm, but even if he did to the above, i would just keep the wheelset on the peugeot and change the rear hub to a white industries h3 and resell the eno hub
-
if he did want to change his wheels from 126mm fixie skidders to roadies or 120mm spaced wheels all he would need to do is change the rear hub, and given the apparent rarity of the eno hubs, he'd probably get a similair amount for what he paid.
also, and this is just an idea, i'm seeing what i think is spacers on the eno hub, if poyzer wanted to convert it to a 120mm spaced hub in the long term, surely he could just get some different sized spacers? tester will probably know the idea for this one
also, poyzer, i back what aerosaries and christian said up thread, give hubjub a call, they do really good prices and can track down a lot of parts for you, saving you import taxes, which with an order that big, are almost a given.

poyzer where you based? wheelbuilder prices seem to be pretty high, try aspire velotech if you're in the usa
As for what i think on your build:
I'd say change the front hub to a white industries one (silver), then get silver cx ray spokes (for front and back), with silver archetypes (for front and back). This way, you get a cheaper wheelset, still looking really nice, just look at the photo's above, and if (more likely when [in time you will see]) you want to make this a geared roadie, all you need to do is change out the rear hub to another white industries one with the same hub body (so spoke length won't change) and bam! you've got a real nice looking, matching wheelset. I have a thing for matching wheels.
If you're worried about the hubs, unless you plan on putting serious mileage and/or you're a pro rider, you won't notice the difference.

Could anyone help me, i've got a miche primato crankset, the slightly older iso taper one and am going to change the bb, it seems the miche one is a bit rubbish with cups loosening and i myself have experienced this.
So, i'm going to order a new one, question is which one? i've found this kinex one which apparently is the same as the miche but with different cups http://velosolo.co.uk/kinex.html thus solving my problem, or do i get the apparently better quality token one here http://www.wiggle.co.uk/token-tk867-iso-square-cromo-axle-bottom-bracket/ and take the 2mm hit on the chainline?
I guess what i'm asking is has anyone had any other problems with the miche other than cups issues?
