C'mon people, you need these^^^^^the amount of stuff I've had pinched over time down to lack of security! all the more so with these bling caps. Safety in numbers.
Just you now mate, i'm out for the security bolt, i'll search ebay etc to see if there's any other options (there must be) and will let you know what i find
tester i've told you the above in the paypal message, if you've not seen that, you now know :) cheers and repped

my way of looking at it is this, you want it to be fast (at this point i don't understand why no crabon? but forget that), look at the fastest cyclists in the world, they all use rim brakes and some use di2 and some mechanical.
I'd defo go for rim brakes and then go mechanical with the frame di2 ready, the reason being that the pro peloton have dedicated mechanics who set up bikes all day long, not riding them, like you should/will be. Then if you really feel that mechanical is just too stone age for you, BAM, sell necessary bits of group and set up for di2
That's my reasoning, plus with the time spent on the frame being built you could probably get individual parts for cheaper and/or in the x-mas sales and/or with x-mas discount codes

32's aren't faster, but more comfortable, also pros don't ride solely on the side of the road in the winter with road muck from all over the place, i ride 28's in the winter and find them to be a happy balance between comfort/security and speed
Rim wise i'd definitely reccomend something wider, creates a better profile and gives better handling, kinlin adhn (£15 @ hubjub) if it's box-section you're after or velocity a23's if you're not fussed with box section and would like something a bit lighter (£30 @ hubjub)

A Botch job fix for that is to get a quill stem adapter one for whatever size forks you have, looks like 1 1/8, if so, profile design do a decent one, get the star nut in the forks currently out (easiest way is to drill it out) then put the adapter in, cut the amount off the top that is over the stem, leave a small gap between the top of the stem and top of the adapter so you can put a spacer on the steerer and then put the top cap on and tighten the bolt, it should work

You definitely look like you got one of the better ones jasper, forks wise I may have a set of Tifosi pistas in a few days, got to do a bit of pm'ing tomorrow morning, alpinas can be drilled, they don't recommend it but a load of guys on Helsinki (or somewhere Scandinavian) have done it with no problems.
If you're looking to ship your forks on, speak to dmayn19 (fairly sure that's his username) he was after some short rake forks with a wide (50mm) crown for his dosnoventa

really nice frame mate, i think the frame will actually turn out to be a bit of a bargain when you take out all the other costs, are the forks full carbon?
also, that bb looks to be needing one of these http://www.wiggle.co.uk/cyclus-cassette-tool-campagnolo/ a campagnolo/miche bottom bracket tool, lbs should have one, if not someone on the forum in london will probably have one too

thread merge with this http://www.lfgss.com/thread108685.html to eastern european track bikes???
i actually got neg-repped for this...
was thinking along the lines that most of these frames were made when it was the soviet union, so eastern european track bikes/frames would encompass both, especially as there is a fair few now russian frames in the polish frames thread

it's this stuff tester, snap on, so no sticky tape http://www.acycles.co.uk/hutchinson-rim-tape-70020mm-pack-of-2-9272.html , so you reckon 20mm?
