In the wild in Kent yesterday. Such a fun bike.

Headset has started clicking / banging. Just loosened and retentioned everything - hopefully it was just everything bedding in. Although occasionally a large crack could be heard which makes teeth ache. Hoping it’s bottle cage / new wheels bedding in.

Gravelking 28’s. Forum recommended pressure?

This is a nice route that I've done once to Bristol and once to Hungerford then diverting up to Highworth, all quiet roads after Reading / Woking area. Goes down into Bath after the ruinous Brassknocker hill.

Something weird about that Kickstarter that makes it feel a bit like a scam / outdated before its even launched?

Anyone ever discussed compiling these routes into a book, proceeds to the forum a la DBAD stickers? Could be a fun project, especially with the combined design talents on here.

Also, picking up 28c gravel kings with tan walls later. Still yet to fit the 50/34 spidering. It is super fun to ride - a great build from Radbikes aka P&L Cycles.

What was a largely forgettable braking experience became, in this mornings downpour, theatrical in volume. Anyone else had problems with Spyres + sintered pads + Deore rotors? So, so loud!

Little trip round Devon - brakes are definitely worn in now. Changed saddle to same but non-camo.

Not on Gatorskins. New tyres were a purchase too far for this month.

Either Schwalbe G One Speeds or Pro Ones (sensible choice) or Gravelking SK's (because tan walls, although the clearance at the back with the FD is a bit tight with the 28 tubed on there at the moment.). I've never ridden a tyre that's not a Gatorskin so I'm looking forward to the gainz.

Know anyone with the specific chainring removal tool for SL cranks? Have a 50/34 spidering to put on but RadBikes (or Parts & Labour cycles as they are now known) didn't have the tool to change them over.

I've ridden thousands of miles on that saddle without a problem, ever. If it aint broke...

...and its camo. I am looking at the Fabric lineup and thinking about getting their new 'spoon' but slightly flatter in profile.

Theres not much 'feel' on the brakes but I can't discern any reduced power. Think it'll take some getting used to. They're definitely not hydros but the bikes now in a good place for a future upgrade. Rad Bikes said clearance was v tight for the Jagwire's going through the bb.

Niggling feeling I should have just bought DA cables and saved myself 20 quid. But onwards!
