Cheers for the advice, but it's not an old stem in there. Not entirely sure what it is to be honest - seems to be 2 small notches on either side inside the fork. Tried lightly filing them down, but they seem to be substantial enough to not just be burrs. Figured a new cheap stem would be the easiest route.

Looking for an 80 or 90mm, 25.4mm, 1" quill stem in silver.

The 'steerer' part that goes into the headtube has to be max 9.5cm (see pic below), due to some obstruction inside my fork.

Ideally something cheap but open to anything.

After an 18t freewheel, ideally 1/8". Was going to get a cheapo Dicta one on eBay but if anyone's got something better for around a tenner that would be great.

Also a pair of 28c tyres for the winter, Rubino Pros would be the preference.

Did these ever get sold? Interested if so, am in N1 so can collect easily.
