Trying to sell heavy stuff before I move...
Marantz PM4000 amp in good condition- all knobs and buttons working nicely. Loads of inputs inc phono, 2 separate speaker outs. Does have a dent in the top but not really visible once in a shelf/under another unit.
Gale Mini Monitors mk2 with removable fronts. Bit scratched, fine condition.
Comes with good quality speaker cable from Richer Sounds and a remote (which makes the volume knob turn- space age).
Collection from E1.
£50

#touched every time I cycle down Queen Victoria St that they kept a cycle lane open during the roadworks when they could've just closed the whole road, like every other roadworks ever.

Bummer, sorry to hear that.
"Multi-fragmentary fracture of the middle third of the shaft of the right clavicle. Mild displacement at the fracture site."
Means that it's broken into several bits at the point where it snapped, somewhere in the middle. Displacement means that the ends don't currently join up.
With displacements, they often recommend surgery to avoid you having a permanently wonky/shortened collar bone. I've broken mine twice and didn't have it the first time even though it was displaced, and never caused me any issues. If yours is mild they might not suggest it.
I got fully discharged today for my second break, 2 months after surgery. Glad I got the surgery as you stop worrying about how it's going to heal (mine was 4cm displaced), but it does take it out of you. If they are confident it will heal fine without it, not sure I'd recommend it. The plate is pretty gnarly and any surgery has its downsides.
In terms of recovery time, even with the surgery, they said stay off the bike for 8-12 weeks so will be a while, I'm afraid. I'm now on the other side and missed cycling a lot, but you get by. Good luck and get some good Kindle books (need 2 hands for a book) and some slip on shoes. You get used to sleeping on your back!

unfashionable late 2000s electro house. If anyone wants to take them all and sell on to a 2nd hand music shop, feel free but please give the forum a donation (maybe half?)

The way I see it, is as long as the person isn't just on here to punt their stuff and is keeping their sales threads up to date rather than just abandoning and ignoring it once it's on eBay/elsewhere, it's not really against the spirit of why the rule was created in the first place.
Suppose they should just edit the title / initial post to avoid the free final bump though. -

Had the misfortune to go back to Bodeans for the first time in ages recently and this review really nails it.. absolutely foul. Couldn't believe how bad it was compared to about 5-10 years ago.

Instead of using the reply function (which generally works well, but can be useful to see the whole thread for context, rather than just the previous reply), I click on the post number to the right of the post (eg https://www.lfgss.com/comments/14228239/).
This brings up the post and and its direct replies (ie the post that the post replied to, and replies to the post). Would it be possible to also show show replies further up and down the chain, meaning the replies to replies, so that the whole threaded conversation is shown?
For example, https://www.lfgss.com/comments/14228239/ would show previous posts, like https://www.lfgss.com/comments/14228131/ .
Had a van driver slam on the brakes on the middle of Old St roundabout, get out and ask for a fight for doing this once.
Genuinely psychotic reaction, so weird
