It's all fine, pretty quiet.
The Q1 path past Millwall FC is quite isolated but there's always people about at commuting times.
Waterlink Way I don't take after dark... doesn't feel sketchy at all during daylight, but I assume it's very quiet at night, so seems a bit unwise. You can just go up and down Perry Hill instead. -
I've got basically the same start and end point and have been honing my route for the last year or so to avoid busy roads and traffic lights. It's a bit longer but so, so much more pleasant and same time/quicker due to the lack of traffic and lights:
https://goo.gl/maps/qdsoTYxqktxiSRVv7You can get from Beckenham to Bricklayers Arms before you hit a traffic light, and Waterlink Way / Q1 is pretty relaxing to cycle on.

It seems pretty commonplace now to kill 'terrorists' with these assassinations by drone, but is there another recent example of the West (ie the US) extrajudicially killing someone not considered a terrorist, leading an army they are not at war with?
It seems to be completely against the rule of law. Definitely scary times ahead.
Edit: ^ explains it, technically I guess.
The whole reason the US annouced the Qud's were to be listed as a terrorist organisation was so that they could kill Suleimani at some point

Had the opportunity and inclination to finally take this off road today, around some woods and paths near Biggin Hill.
Such a lovely bike to ride on bridleways and singletrack; so completely inappropriate with those slick tyres and 13t sprocket when there was any sort of mud, incline, camber, bends, etc.
Still loved it and want to start doing it more, with some proper mtb tyres and a ratio a bit closer to 2:1.

That's the obvious port of call and I'm sure it'll work well at first, but I can see it becoming less and less of an excuse once we've left and are meant to be forging our way boldly as an independent country.
Can imagine the UK govt will be the immediate source of anger pretty soon once factories start closing, standard of living for the poorest noticeably decreases further, etc. -

Nice, been waiting for a SS/Alfine Arkose frameset to come up in my size for a while.
It's a well liked bike on this forum, few examples here https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/314616/ and current projects, gravel thread, etc.
