I know. It doesn't make sense to me either! Why would you chop a frame to steal it? But then there are some crazy folks out there.....

A friend asks...

Do you know any one with specialist skills welding a bike frame? A colleague had the x bar cut to nick the bike but didn’t take it after all. I’ve said a repair could be dodgy and always a weak spot. I’d like to help them out if poss. It’s an alloy frame.

What do you think? Impossible?
