no way, well i was lucky enough to sort it in the end. Its a lovely frame to ride, but I cant help but feel a bit ripped off.

The paint has flickered away around the seat pin, the bottom bracket and also the edges of the headset shell. Its very minor, but seems a bit bullshit given the price and reputation of these frames.

arrived in the post this morning. cheers. Not rode em yet, but they look the bizz and very strong. Great alternative to hold fasts, which i dont rate at all.

Out of the 3 brand new frames Ive bought, only my pre cursa was already faced and reamed. Cheapest of the bunch too. strange that.

sorted it, well sort of. Looks like one side of the pin was dodgy and ended up using part of the similar bolt that plugs the brake hole. Proper redonkulous.

Not buying new frames again, only once have I come away without getting some stupid problem or dodgy manufacturing. Im an unlucky sod.

Ive tried 2 different 27.2's and although one is better, its still moveable.

Just built up a gazzetta and for some reason a 27.2 seat post is just slipping.

I ride out there sometimes and hatfield is a nice ride from london. few different routes you can take too.

Nice, cheers mate. Actually never got myself onto a track yet (hold the hipster shouts) but keen to go have some fun.

I like BLB for a lot of the stock they have and the second hand bit can sometimes throw up some gems, but I find their own branded components to be really shoddy in terms of quality. Ive had two different stems from there and both have been visibly badly made and also on both the bolts tended to loosen off. Overall most of their own stuff looks very cheap in every sense other than what you are required to hand over.

In terms of the staff, some are cool and some arent. hit or miss. Just dont take their shit, like with most bike shops unfortunately.

Just one more little rant about cabbies. I absolutely hate it when you get in a cab (which i havnt for a long long time) and they start banging on about their love of history. As a past History student, I would then ask something like "oh yeah, which parts of History interest you?" knowing full well that the answer will always be and was "the second world war mainly" haha. So in reality you read some generic books, no contradicting arguments and a few documentaries on the history channel and now you are some fucking expert.

Plus they always claim to know everything about the united kingdom, when in reality they mean "London" and have absolutely no idea about the rest of the country.

spindrift I agree, but thats something the program failed to set straight. So many cabbies just DO NOT understand what we are allowed to do.

I literally despise them for not only cycling reasons. So many of em just drive around bullying people. Once saw one of the massive skinhead, british bulldog looking ones literally shouting, screaming and blowing his horn right behind some poor women in her car. as far as i could make out, she wasnt doing anything wrong other than not pulling forward a bit more. and in any case, she was literally petrified. felt so bad I almost went over even though the prick was twice my size.
