Hey!
My girlfriend is looking to sell her Jacques Anquetil mixte bicycle. I'm pretty sure it's a 52cm frame, she's around 5'4 and it fits her perfectly.
It's a great little runaround and everything is working fine, it was serviced recently by the guys at Hackney Peddler.
The giro to power the lights needs a little adjusting to keep it on the wheel and could do with some LED bulbs as the current ones are a little dim.
She's looking to get £150 for the bike and there's also a barely used women's Specialized Sierra helmet size 50-58cm and some little Lezyne lights that could be thrown in for a tenner each. Or £160 for the lot.
Thanks, PM me if anyone's interested.

Hey, I have more bits to clear out so here goes:
Charge Saddle in Black with one rub mark to the rear - SOLD
Cinelli VAI Stem, 110mm. It does have the matching faceplate but it's currently on my bike but I'll remove if it sells! - £10
Cinelli Ant Stem, 60mm. Excellent condition - SOLD
Goldfinger Brake Lever Oversized - SOLD
Misc brake caliper with cable, shimano pads with life left too - £5
I'm also willing to trade for any 35mm or 120 film, or analogue photography gear so let me know what you have.
Collection from Camden Town or Elephant and Castle is best.
Thanks.

probably shit
needs a front brake for commuting
the frame is heavy gas pipe and there is little chance the components will withstand doing any tricks
No brand parts will probably break soon, gas-pipe steel will weigh a tonne, and they say 'frame size & geometry has been optimised to suit riders between 5ft 8 & 6 ft 4', which is complete bullshit, so it won't fit. I would stay away - if you need a bike that cheap get a second hand one from classifieds on here, you'll get a much better bike for your money.
You are being good.
It'll be shit also not for road use.
Expect honesty here.
Probably shit.undergeared.poor.brakes.heavy as Fuck. This one is the same sort of bike, but better - chromoly not hi-tensile steel, parts are cheap and cheerful but a lot better, at least FSA cranks, Formula hubs, Weinmann rims etc are decent manufacturers.

It's also ugly, which you seem to like :D
Not a bad bike. better than a create.
thanks for the advice, i don't mind brutal honesty haha.
i'll check out the classifieds, any you can point me towards? -
hey!
i'm new here, i posted in the welcome section earlier today. i'm selling my car and switching to cycling as one of my modes of transport.
my brother showed me this http://www.mafiabike.com/manhattan/manhattan.html just wondering if anyone knew if it would be suitable for short commuting as well as tricks? -
Hi I'm new here too (sort of) great site.
Harphoto - not sure, but I'd get a normal fixed gear for commuting etc. unless you want to do tricks too?
would that one not be suitable for commuting as well as tricks?
i guess it could be customised to lean towards one or the other depending on what i use it for more? -
hey, just joined the forum last night as I'm selling my car and making the switch to a bicycle!
