Texting and driving is out of control here in LA, but tbh distracted cycling is rife too. Not many cyclists here (compared to London or NY), but the chances of seeing somebody texting whilst riding are quite high.
Doesn't help when it's presented as normal/acceptable behaviour in adverts for phone accessories either.

you know what its stupid remarks and accusations like that which stop people returning bikes. i returned a bike i bought after finding it was stolen, at my own cost and got nothing but shit from it with assumptions like yours. and frankly wish i hadnt bothered.
