These aren't typical cone and nut systems. The axle is tighetened from one side by a cone that can be tightened/loosened by dual pin pliers. The same problem has happened to me and I've literally been through a set of pliers to try and remove them. Glws and sorry it happened to you aswell.

Word of advice when selling wheels, try and get like a ruler/penny and put it against the rim in a photo. It would avoid buyers asking of the condition. On that note, I too would be interested in seeing the condition.

A lovely frame from Rose and an amazing potential project for someone. The bicycle was kept in good condition, the shifters working and the calipers/hydraulics functioning prior to the dismantlement. There is a fair amount of scratches on the shifters (please check with pictures). This bicycle was stripped and had most components moved onto another frame. Selling on behalf of a good friend.

Nice try but please be realistic, you'd probs get £100 for it,try to keep these vintage bikes looking vintage. Once you update them, you need to spend a decent amount to do it properly. It's never worth it in honest truth. Glws anyway.

for open bearing hubs, the price may be out, I'd say £50/£60 cash. Post better pictures. GLWS though

For those who like this, just gonna say that you can upgrade the ram with laptop 8gb ddr3 sticks from Cex for less than £20 and wack a 256gb SSD in it for £30 to make one hell of a theatre pc! GLWS and BUMP!
