Also, try setting your mail software to use smtp.dial.pipex.com as the SMTP server for outgoing mail.

Since last night I've not been able to send emails through Outlook. Didn't change anything in my server settings. Can receive, but sending just pops them in my outbox for eternity. I can log into the webmail equivalent and sent just fine.

... so it looks like you have a dynamic IP address. Your ADSL router may have redialed and picked up a tainted IP. Try restarting it and seeing if you get a different IP address.
