Here's the situation...
I've absolutely hated dentists since as far back as I can remember and would do anything to get out of going to one. I recently went private to a nice place (which happened to be owned by the father of my best friend).
His dad really helped me out, offered a great service and I had some work done which should have cost me just shy of £1k which I was happy to pay full price for but he refused to take any money because me and his son have been friends for such a long time.
I'd really like to buy this man a bottle of wine, whiskey or something else. What is a 'fool proof' drink to buy and how much should I be spending? I don't mind spending that little extra as I don't want to give him a bottle of something cheap and nasty!
thanks

Marge: "Enjoy it now because when you're a grown up you will have to take care of yourself!"

Marge: "You did the right thing by telling me. Shooo! Get out of here!"

Hi everyone,
purchased this a while ago complete (I just wanted the components) so looking to sell the frame. Really beautiful frame, was considering swapping the parts over from my Gazelle to this...
size is 55cm seat-tube (centre to top) and 53.5cm top tube (centre to centre)
The frame has no cracks, just a very very small ding in the centre of the chain-stay and someone has been at the right-hand rear drop-out with what looks like a blow torch. Mech hanger is slightly bent, I can get my father to bend it back unless buyer wants me to leave it, he's been doing metal work for years so will be able to get it straight and it will still be strong but just know some people prefer to do this themselves. There's also a tiny nick from what looks like a blade. Mech hanger thread still ok.
Once mech hanger has been bent back (probably 2mm off) the only remaining bit of someone's bodge will be the blow-torched burn to the drop-out hanger which could do with polishing a little.
Frame does have a few rust bubbles which are all very small.
I believe the original owner had this built up as a TT bike as it's only got a single gear braze-on and BB cable guides.
Looking for £200 posted please.

"Well, let's just call them... uh, 'Mr. X' and 'Mrs. Y'. So anyway, Mr. X would say, "Marge, if this doesn't get your motor running, my name isn't Homer J. Simpson!"
Homer (wearing a leather jacket): Look everyone. Now that I'm a teacher, I've sewed patches on my elbows.
Marge: Homer, that's supposed to be leather patches on a tweed blazer, not the other way around. You've ruined a perfectly good jacket.
Homer: Uh...incorrect, Marge. Two perfectly good jackets. -

Homer: Okay, boy. This is where all the hard work, sacrifice, and painful scaldings pay off.
random guy: Four pounds of grease... that comes to... sixty-three cents.
Homer : Woo-hoo!
Bart: Dad, all that bacon cost twenty-seven dollars.
Homer: Yeah, but your mom paid for that!
Bart: But doesn't she get her money from you?
Homer: And I get my money from grease! What's the problem?
