The whole thing has barely been used. Bought as an open box item from Richer Sounds, hence the mark on the front. Selling due to an upgrade.
First dibser is away until Monday and I would like to shift this weekend if possible to free up space in my flat. So if anyone else in interested, please PM me (he is fine with this).

Red, good condition apart from small mark on the front of the plinth (see photo) . Would make an excellent first turntable.

All of the above! I have a NAS drive connected to a plex server which serves out all my own content, then have google music and spotify. Also like the idea of allowing any guests we have to be able to stream music to whatever room they are staying in ( I have lots of siblings, there is normally a different one here every night! like a bloody hotel...)
Similar to my setup, although I only use one Chromecast Audio hooked up to my separates system. To be honest I don't find the Chromecast very reliable, even via an Ethernet cable. The initial connection from whichever app you are using is pretty flaky, particularly with Spotify.
Regarding the Sky setup, are you going to use mini boxes for all your TVs? I don't think they do 4K do they?

I am by no means an audiophile, the majority of music used will be digital content or radio, so not sure we would see the benefit of good separates, and this could always be added on at a later date anyway.
In that case I would use portable streaming devices with a wifi access point in each room, rather than running speaker cable to the loft. The Cat-6 cabling is the most important thing.

Ouch. that starts adding up...
tempted to just throw out £30 rubbish ones to start with and upgrade room by room
Wouldn't it be better to spend £3k on a separates system you can really enjoy listening to rather than having poor quality audio in every room in the house? Or spend £2k and the rest on records.

Before I throw this out, does anyone want one of these:

There is no hard drive or system disks so you will need to provide these, but I have the original keyboard and mouse. Copies of Mac OSX 10.5 Leopard (the last version this machine can run) can be bought on eBay. Pickup from N19.
