Did 25.41 tonight, which is a pb, but different course so doesn't really mean anything. Need to work on my pacing, the third quarter felt like I had a parachute behind me.

Sign on will be at the point where the off road cycle path crosses Westacott Way
It can get pretty dark under the trees in the middle section
Don't go mad up the slope to Burchetts Green in the first mile, it's tempting to try to hold speed up there as you'll feel fresh and going easy will feel slow
The Floral Mile on the way out doesn't look like a downhill, but it definitely feels like an uphill coming back
Look out for a series of manhole covers right on the racing line between the end of the Floral Mile and the Seven Stars on the way back
Your finish wind up starts at the bottom of the dip by the Shire Horse

Anyone ridden the H10/2 and got any advice/info about the course? Considering riding the Reading CC 10 there on Tuesday

Just been to Paul Smith at Bicester. Got the purple rain jacket for £84, reduced from £270. They had a number of them in stock and also had L and XL available. Also track gloves in black leather for £40 and silk scarves down to £17 from £50...
And I got a bright pink hat. Happy days.
