The hills crew seem to be doing MTB gravel stuff on Tuesdays.

Once the clocks go back the Hills season will probably start again

Everything stripped off the frame and wheels and groupset will be posted out this week.

I'm going out every Tuesday and Thursday at the mo on 40milers, happy for people to join responsibly. I will eventually get some Outliers weekend rides going as well, I hope!

I leave Broughton about 6ish and routes vary with wind direction

Groupset Sold!

Reluctant, but 'necessary' sale! I really like this bike but cant justify keeping it when, its a tiny bit to small and I have the Talbot Spacebiek on the way up to Edinburgh from London's famous London

Frame and Forks - 58 CTT and 58 CTC, 653, Washo built with lairy paint in decent condition with a few marks and chips, but as its been well used by the OG owner since '93, its really very good. I have also given it some love with the magic eraser. The frame comes with:

Matching frame pump with sun/time fade. I serviced the pump and it works well A red bottle cage and also a neon matching cage, which has a small crack in the plastic mount but could be fixed very easily. The Record HS, 3TT Stem, Zoom Seat post and 3TTT bars are all included. The stem was stuck when I got the frame but it does move now and I haven't paid it any attention because it was just about the right length for me.

I'd like £450 ono £425 ono £325 £250, which might be punchy, but if I sell everything else and I'm about £400ish off the MTB price, I can live with that and hang it on the wall

Wheels - 50mm deep sections. Halo hubs to (what look like) no name carbon rims that have not seen a lot of use, light wear on brake tracks. Sapim spokes 20/24 . The rear hub is currently 10s, but I will throw in a nearly new 11s Bitex hub and three, yes three sets of spokes. I was going to rebuild the rear as 11s, but not to be. The rear could do with a quick true, but nothing major. Wheels come with rim tape, but not tyres, tubes, SQRs or the cassette. I would like £250 ono for these. SOLD

6800 Groupset - Bought on here, bit tired but does the job. I've added a new chain into the mix since. Comes as complete set so Shifters, chainset, chain, cassette, FD, RD, brakes & BB (68mm British). I can also lob in the month old Jagwire cables as well. No pedals I would like £200 ono SOLD

I also have a shitload of vintage Campag stuff to offload, that I really should start to get out of the loft. NR mainly, so message if you are after something in the meantime.

Its in Edinburgh, but happy to post and I may be coming down again in Sept, so might be able to work out a classic KGX handover.

Traditionally (going back to 1889) Hills is replaced by White Bear/MTB Tuesdays in the summer months.

Puffer is fine, I mean its awful but I enjoy it, even if I did have an icey sleep that onetime

MTB'ing is great and when I lived near Pitlochry I learnt A LOT, quickly, often OTB.

But then I got knocked off twice in two days in London, smashed my back up and have spent 12months getting it back in some kind of shape. The advice was not to MTB, so i sold the Tarn so as not to be tempted :)

Top of the list atm is a YT Izzo

But cons are that, its not an Isen and it wont come until Nov. So if I do pump for it, I will need to find/borrow something to practice on

I'm going to break the Lairy Rourke down as I need to raise funds for an MTB, as my back is now in acceptable condition and I have unfinished Puffer business

Ben has dibs on the groupset, but the wheels are up for grabs.

I will consider selling the frame, as I cant really justify Spacebiek and this tbh, but i could keep it as a frame...
