Cheers fella, maiden win that, well chuffed.
Crash in C's scratch. Our Marcus broke his collar bone and Hackney's Adam got all grazed up. The VCL child involved bounced and disappeared.
One of our lads got taken to hospital from LV road circuit today too after a nasty crash in the 3/4's.......
Bad week for BC

Thanks so much for this, I'll plot it all out tomorrow. I did think that some A9 and A90 action may have to happen at some point.
I've also played the Club Sec card and emailed my counter part at Dundee Wheelers to ask about routes. If I get anything back I'll see what you think.
That 140mile day sounds like one of those days that grows fonder in the memory as time passes :)

Wonderful, much appreciated. This thread kills my phoeb too.
We used to have a big rivalry with the Dundee teams on the hockey pitch and we had some great nights out with them around the city. We'd always end up in the Mardi or Fat sams (whatever it was called by the end)
Halcyon (and stupid) days.

In terms of distance I have all day so the longer the better really, I'm in no particular rush to get stuck into thebstag weekend......
I lived in Aberdeen for 6 years so know the general Cairngorms and coastal areas fairly well, So anything inland heading around Aberfeldy or Pitlochry way would be great.
Also not adverse to jumping into Fife as I've done Edinburgh - Anstruther -st Andrews and it was lovely.

Yep he's grand.
Emailed him last night and this morning. He's broken his collar bone and banged his back up a bit. The ambulance was called as a precaution as his helmet was smashed at the back and because when he stood up for the first time he fainted!
He's a tough lad though, his main concern this morning was how he'd get a shirt on......
Any one know how Hackney Andy is this morn, he had some tasty cuts and grazes?
Other than his tumble it was cracking nights racing last night.

The chrome Minster (Alan) is back from Ellis-Briggs. They have re tracked it and sorted out the headtube issues. BC have built it up with the parts from the Blue Minster (Arnold) and just as the weather is looking up I have a proper winter bike :)
E-B confirmed that they made this frame, as Arnold was good friends with Jack Briggs, if Arnold had too much on he got E-B to give him a hand, good to know the history, but no more details than than. Hopefully @alanelsegood will have more luck with them.
Anyway here it is, lovely and ratty and ready to be shaken down on the London Classic this weekend. Just need to do more tinfoil treatment on the chrome and try to protect the decals with localised clear coat.
Will put more pics up when I get a chance.

I can remember to be honest, i remember people having digs (mostly BC and you) then that VCL lad went potatoe hunting. I just concentrated on trying to rid myself of the carriages lining up behind me. I felt like shouting "piss off, I'm not that fat!"
Was nice to pip Tim on the line for 3rd too.
Now we begin the wait for the results to be published........

Ha!
Racing. My attendance will be sporadic now due to track and the wedding prep, but when I am there it'll be good to see you hold your own on your new beauty.
