Glad to hear it!
Actually I bought this yesterday:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Cassette-Campagnolo-8S-for-Campagnolo-freehub-body-9Sp-13-23-/332110869951?_trksid=p2141725.m3662.l6403
but I was starting to wonder if it was a good idea. Thanks for your answer, I'm feeling a bit more confident now :) -
Hi there,
I recently bought a pair of nos mexico 68 rims laced on what was described in the ad as titanium record hubs.
After seeing the pictures, I thought they were 9 speed so I didn't bother to ask the seller but when I got them I found out that they had the damn super rare 8 speed record titanium hubs, which has a unique freehub body.
I've read on bradford bike that it was possible to fit some 9 speed cogs after notching them a bit. Has anyone tried that before? Does it seem like a good idea or should I try to replace the freehub? Anybody knows a compatible one?
I know it's a lot of questions, and of course I could buy a campy titanium cassette but the cheapest I found on ebay is 150 euros, which is three times the price I paid for the wheels...

Hi,
I'm looking for a campagnolo record titanium 8 speed cassette. To my knowledge, it's the only model that would fit a campagnolo record titanium 8 speed hub.
This is the hub body I'm talking about:

If someone has a spare one to get rid of at a decent price, or if there are some alternative that can be used on this hub, please let me know!
Cheers!

Hi there,
I'm selling a pair of shamal, black edition from early 2000.
They're in overall good condition, true, no dents, hubs are super smooth and braking surface have plenty of life left. For 9/10sp campagnolo cassette. You can also fit 8sp cassette, I can supply one if needed.
Cosmetic condition is very good as well, except for few scratches here and there due to normal use. There is a slight mark of brakes under a portion of the braking surface of the rear wheel, non-drive side if I'm correct. They come with original QR (they have some scratches as well). Yours for 230 GBP including shipping and Paypal Fee. Or you may pick them up in Paris :)

So I finished this lovely decathlon penta pro from the ag2r prévoyance team, 2004.
The frame is in dedacciai EOM 16.5, very light for a steel frame, and very stiff.Built with a complete record titanium groupset and shamal wheelset.

And here is an update of my Merlin Extralight, with a new wheelset (fulcrum racing 3) and a masterpiece seatpost

Cheers

Lovely frame, though 1200 gms is a bit optimistic :)
I have the same one in size 56 and it weighs 1330 gms, which is still fairly light!https://c2.staticflickr.com/6/5501/12586904294_81e1b73513_b.jpg

Cheers Gaston!
I had seen your bike, it's really magnifique, I wish I had a complete mavic groupset but it's such a pain to find :/
The seatpost is a pmp, rims are good old open pro and the headset is a stronglight indeed.
Pedals are not sintesi but cambio Rino!I don't know about the stem, I tried a gunmetal one to match the seatpost but I prefer this one...
