Selling this beauty on behalf of my brother in law who is looking to clear a bit of space (and family loyalty doesn't stretch to £1250 hand-me-downs).
Alu and Carbon frame with a recently added SRAM Red group set. Wheels are Campagnolo Euros, look great in the flesh and really work on this bike.
FSA stem, LOOK pedals and Fizik saddle, no splits. Framesize Medium.
A great bike at a great price, £1250 for the lot.

Up for grabs is this lovely little Peugeot Monaco. Frame size is 15" I believe. My girlfriend is 5'2 and it fits her perfectly. It has had fairly light use for the last couple of years since we got it and has been well looked after.
Needs a new gear cable but is otherwise in good condition. A great little bike for bimbling about town. Well loved but selling as my girlfriend has bought herself something new and we need the space!
Happy to arrange for anyone to come and have a look in SE.
A steal at £100

I find it very hard to see genuine mass cycling in this country with safety in numbers and some training, useful though that is.
But I agree, people like the LCC need to promote cycling for all the benefits that it brings whilst not losing sight of the fact that politicians are making decisions on cycling provision that are killing people needlessly. It's a very difficult balance to strike and maybe there is an argument that it has gone a bit too far towards the dangerisation angle.

^ Just reminded me of an incident outside London Bridge station this morning, at the ped crossing opposite the London Dungeon entrance.
I'm moving slowly in heavy traffic infront of but to the left of a tipper lorry (weak positioning I know) the lights go red and I pull up just shy of the line, tipper lorry carries on, running the lights, which have been red for a few seconds, scattering pedestrians and brushing past me with a few inches of wiggle room. Twat.

"that concertina bit near one end that allows you to flex it so you don't have to tilt the glass to get the straw in your mouth?"
That's what that's for? Wow.
"was actually one of those straws that widen out at the end into a little spoon so that you can scoop up all the bits at the bottom of your drink"
MIND. BLOWN.
