You need a 9 speed MTB rear mech to go with a 10 speed cassette because the pull between 9 and 10 speed Shimano MTB mechs is different. The 9 speed has the same pull as the road 10 speed.

I am thinking of selling my cx bike (2012 CAADX, 56cm, Tiagra originally but running 1x10 105 drivetrain now) because I don't actually use it much.

Functional rack, new levers and cages and ridiculous bar tape.
Front rack bag (Freight Baggage) on it's way and hopefully due next month.

My first DD after years or missing chances due to other commitments. I really liked the event and the general vibes but hated that convoluted bus ticketing system. I will do it again next year but I will seriously think about cycle it back too.

Our total elapsed time was of about 10 hours since it was more of a pub crawl than anything else and due to the mixed nature of the group but I really believe it's not one of those events you want to do "fast".

Very disappointed by the littering, I picked up some myself at moments because it was kind of ridiculous.

Loved the mist in the morning.

My fuel list: 2x Clif bars, 1/3 tube of salt&vinegar Pringles and 6x Peronis.
