At the end of the day they decomissioned a perfectly good rail loop line around manchester..mc..oldham..rochdale..mc..that carried bikes and replaced it with a TOTALLY un-integrated transport system thats totally cycle unfriendly???? integrated transport system my fekkin arse!!!

The wheels, I built for a previous project and had to use them for this (budget somewhere round zero!). Agree with DFP on the wheels! And really wanted some really plain looking taditional shallow profile rims....the bars I didnt really have much choice..I cant ride on the drops anymore due to an altercation with an audiA4 and my old back/neck just cant take it any more!

I have sourced old style 'Block letter' decals from H Lloyd, who makes them under licence, but he does not produce the head crest as BJ still sell them (at a premium!!)

Just in the process of refurbing my beloved BJ and I am in need of headbadge/crest seatpost Bob jackson decals.
Been in contact with BJ and they want TWENTY FIVE ferkin quid!!! for two !
These decals measure around 1 1/2 inch square....... that'll be about a fiver a square inch!!
I Could go the whole hog and get the "metal headbadge" for JUST £36 of your finest English pounds!!!
What ferkin planet are we on????????

When a frameset from the fella costs near on 500 i reckon the owner should be able get replacement decals at a reasonable price, when they decide to give it a new lease of life.... the bloke has got us all by the short n' curlies.
