Not as much room to drill a new hole as I thought... damn. Tried it from the back, it is not any use.Countersinking may be the best option in that case? I've never done that before. Perhaps I should just suck it and take it to a shop

I was thinking along the lines of drilling it slightly larger first. BA is another option too... Pretty sure the thread is gone but I'll try it from the back and get a pic in a bit. It is an old Dura Ace one

Not sure there is enough space for that either... It may be possible with a severely ground down nut, but it would be a less practical solution I think

The cable clamp. I would use a nut and bolt, but there isn't enough clearance for a nut!

oh I have an old little tv somebody could have for free... not a flatscreen, and I think the dvd player scratches disks. Fine for a small tv for a bedroom or something though.

So, lots of inactivity due to exams, but I only have one left so I spent my evening in the garage. Done a fair amount of sanding, most of the paint I need to remove is now gone and I'll touch it up with some stripper at a later date. Also I have produced my extremely low tech Jig, using spare bits of wood and an old axle. I still need to add some brackets to hold the BB shell in place. I should probably have spent less on components and more on tools but oh well.

I wouldn't know, I barely know who he is... once again, selling on behalf of my girlfriend's mum ;)

Selling these tickets as I stupidly booked a trip to spain at the same time. Paid £75 each originally, so would like to make that back is all! I would also rather sell all at once, as selling a single ticket could be difficult! £225 ONO would be lovely jubbly. I am in Cambridge so I would have to post to most people I assume! It is at Wembley Stadium and should be a good night out.
