Put on an adjustable stem and a 55 tooth ring, position is now perfect! Shame I fiddled with the cabling a bit and as it was frayed beyond redemption it is cut a bit short- havent noticed any difference with the shifting as its friction, the only noticeable difference would be removing the wheel in case of puncture, but if that happens you have lost the TT anyway...

I am actually quite tempted to go for the f&f in all honesty to make it a fixed TT project, I had a soft spot for it when you made the thread, and a bit disheartened when you revealed the sad news, I feel the best I can do is set a few PB's on the beast! I won't dibs or PM just yet, I am in the process of selling another bike, so I shall see what I can do when that happens as monetary situations are not great. But if I do go through with the purchase, stay hanging around, i'll do my best to make you proud!

Tri bars will make a much bigger difference than you think, apparently 1/2mph if you are going at 'time trial pace', and so will lycra, not noticeable in speed, but the comfort and breathabilty will all ad up, i guarantee youll get sub 30 if you use lycra and tri bars.
also, remember not to go out too hard! -

I wish I did save that from its fate, but nah, mines a beast!
