If you are going to go spendy with Royce hubs for Sunday best then I would definitely recommend Hed Belgiums. If you don't want to go spendy then the DT Swiss R460 can be a good alternative. But in all respects of weight, finish, and bling factor the Hed Belgium has it over the Archetype, R460, and the SL23. Also, I have huge bother fitting tyres to SL23s, much more difficult than the other rims I mentioned.

I can get one for you, a NOS Mavic MA40 700c 32 hole in grey. A supplier I know has only one left in stock but it will cost around £30 so maybe a bit more than you want to pay. PM if you're interested.

Not sure what price you want but I sometimes use Graham from Tiller Cycles, he can do custom spoke lengths in 13g Sapim Leader.

@DR, Some interesting and perhaps salient points in that interview but O'Keefe strays right into unapologetic monolithic international Jewish conspiracy theory territory. Whilst the Israeli lobbying of media and governmental apparatus in the west may be powerful and have influence O'Keefe's view seems to be that they are "the hidden hand" behind all global geopolitical moves and I'm not believing that.

Moving on, the tiresome rhetoric from Hamfacedcorporategoonbot & Co is the usual "nail meet hammer" shite probably mostly designed to boost further the British arms industry and assuage the electorate's fear & anger by presenting a simple solution, the repeat presentation of a solution that has singularly and completely failed to achieve its aims in the past, has certainly further exacerbated and enflamed a very complex sets of situations, helping to bring us to where we are now.

I tell you what though, if it ever comes to putting "boots on the ground" I might support it if it's done the ancient Spartan way. The Kings of Sparta could declare war on who they liked but they then had to be in the front line. I'd pay good money to see Pig Fucker and co. on the front line.

Fairly steep. Steeper than anything BPW has got. Don't know how it compares gradient wise to Aston Hill. There are a variety of runs, not very long, but good for practise.

Considering doing some sessioning of the steeps on Pitch Hill if anyone's up for it Saturday, weather dependent. If it's pissing down I won't go.
The plan is to do runs on the various steep trails at the viewing point on Pitch Hill then lay wreaths in Winterfold to mourn the passing of MBR/Evian, Area 51, and Milestone.
