It would be interesting to see if it CXers do try them out and see what the results are but it will mean a specific road/CX Procore system for narrower rims, I think. Apparently Schwalbe says that a minimum 23mm wide internal rim diameter is needed for the Procore system to work properly in this iteration so is confined to MTB. Even a HED Belgium 25+ only has an internal width of 21mm.
It will be interesting to see if Schwalbe develop road and CX Procore.
EDIT: Plus minimum tyre width has to be 2.25, so...

No probs. I think investing in actually purchasing his book is best but there are numerous scanned PDFs available on the net for nothing.
Brandt's book covers everything from basic wheel building to the engineering principles underpinning the construction of the wheel so I would always recommend it in just about every wheel building advice context. :-) -

Planning on doing an offroad ride in the Surrey Hills tomorrow. Plan is to meet at Dorking train station around 10am, ride to Holmbury Hill, few trails there, on to Pitch Hill and ride a few, then either catch the train from Gomshall or head back to Dorking on a mostly offroad route.
If anyone is interested post here or PM me. -
@IR @Howard @mmccarthy @LHL @digs86 @kingbling and anyone else:
Does anybody want to ride tomorrow down Pitch Hill and Holmbury? Forecast looks good. Aim would be to get to Dorking around 10am and ride offroad route to Holmbury and then on to Pitch.

Nice edit from the Surrey Hills. Trails like the now sadly deceased MBR/Evian being ripped the shit out of:

Update on the earlier post about the destruction of the trails around Winterfold it seems that the present landowner where the trails lay is using forestry operations as an excuse to destroy trails. The parcels of land that were recently put up for auction by the Hurtwood Estate gave opportunity for this person to buy that parcel and fuck the trails. Having looked at that area now it doesn't look as of felling trees is a priority other than to block the entrance and exits to all trails on the land he owns.
His saying that mountain bikers had never asked permission to trail build is irrelevant as he had not long ago bought the land, and all the trails were pre-existent to that as far as I'm aware.
I think it's the same person who owns land where the top section of Secret Santa and trails such as Lady's Legs and Spooky Woods used to lie. Until he also fucked them with dubious "forestry operations."He don't like MTBers it seems.
Ho-hum. At least there are many, many hills to play around on.

Yeah, I didn't adhere to the rules as regards bumping and only having the item available here. I've removed the item from eBay now, as of yesterday, actually. I'm having trouble keeping track of all the shit I'm trying to sell.
My bad. I didn't pay attention to the rules thread on conditions of sale here. I'm now up to speed. Consider me suitably chastised.
