two track wheel sets are up for sale. may only end up selling one set as I'm a little reluctant to leave myself short but will see how they go.

1. Mavic Ellipse wheelset. Pretty much brand new, the only flaws I can find is the dust settling on them. the nuts almost have zero signs of use. free unbranded cog included with lock-ring. spin like they did new, completely true and just amazing condition. no brakes have been anywhere near them.

2. Phil Wood Hi flange hubs (Front is SLR version) laced to what were NOS Campagnolo Atlanta 96 rims with double butted spokes. They look absolutely amazing, and are a very unique combination. not your standard everyday build that's for sure. rims have a few marks but are still in very good nick with only a couple of tiny dings. no brakes have been anywhere near them. 275GBP

not massively HHSB, but I was taking this to lbs to get fork switched out for threaded steel again. Last night I quickly put this stem/bar combo on and its well comfy... may keep as is. am lusting a bit of quill right now tho.

New wheels but still need to change the tyres. today gave me the opportunity to get it proper shiny and clean. Still need to tweak the stem/bars. Perhaps need to slam it a touch and rotate the bars a little.

The old deda newton stems are pretty slim for a 1 1/8th.

This is ridiculous. Love it!

Reynolds were very helpful. turns out the rims are from different manufacturign periods:

Thanks for your questions. The visual differences you see on your Attack wheelset are due to manufacture dates. Both rims have decals from our 2012 season. You can easily tell rim manufacture dates by the first 4 digits on the serial number label in the tire channel of the rim. Serial number sequence HZ 09xxxxxx was manufactured in 2009; HZ12xxxxxx was manufactured in 2012, etc...

Your front wheel was probably manufactured between 2011-2012 as it has a more modern braking surface called CTG. CTG is still used on Reynolds rims for 2016. The 3K 'weave' fabric material dissipates heat more easily than earlier rim designs.

Your rear wheel was probably manufactured between 2008 - 2010. It has a braking surface of 'Uni' (unidirectional carbon) covered in a material called scrim. That material added durability to the wheel, but wasn't as efficient as CTG against heat build-up.

I will contact the seller and as he didn't mention anything regarding it being a mixed wheel-set and see what he says...

flickr set may be easier. i emailed a reynolds certified store in the UK about a rim replacement and he's saying he could do it for 300quid..... but thats a bit rich for me right now!

Dip on track only noticeable with ruler used next to it. probably 1/2 mm at most. similar on both rims..

will email reynolds as u suggest

Not AT people. but more of a statement of what I am doing. to try an cut out the both stopping or both going at the same time equation. like cars at a roundabout. when they approach roundabout/junction at the same time. both stop for the other and then attempt to go at the same time.. top avoid when I start my left turn manoeuvre to turn they don't start to cross the road.. if they are already crossing then obviously i do not yell in their ear.

yeah i guess it was a bit of nothing... i think there is a time and a place for a bell which goes hand in hand with riding with care, attention and understanding..
