SOLD 2017 Brompton S6R Black edition in Orange colour £800 SOLD
This used to be my daily driver but now have changed to a different bike hence the sale. The hinge has been serviced a while back, so no play or squeaking. Only a few minor marks on the frame from general use but generally good condition. The chain, chainring, pulleys and sprockets were replaced not long ago, so well within normal spec.

Bike is mostly stock with some minor mods and upgrades:

• Rear hub changed to SRF-3 and sprockets swapped out for Shimano ones with ramps, this means the gears have a slightly tighter jump between the gears, avg 15% change as opposed to the factory ~20%. Also shifting under load is significantly better than stock.
  
• Front light is upgraded to a B&M CYO unit
  
• Joseph Kuosac headset
  
• Aftermarket hinge clamp levers for bling
  
• Rack has skateboard style wheels for better rolling
  
• Swissstop brake pads
  
• Includes Brompton tool set which hides inside the frame

Got back this morning. So glad I decided to do it, barely a drop of rain the whole way and had lots of great midnight/midmorning chats with random people. How'd everyone else's rides go?

For sale is my old wheel set, about 1.5 years old. These are handbuilt by myself and I have upgraded which is why I'm selling these. The intent of this wheelset was to be a durable road/gravel endurance wheelset hence the dynamo and the 32 spokes and brass nipples.

I've given it a checkup prior to sale and front tension is at about 100kgf both sides, rear is at 112kgf DS and 63kgf NDS. Both run true and straight.

32h SP Dynamo PD-8X 15mm x 100mm thru axle comes w/ 12mm adapter. This was factory rebuilt when wheels were put together

Rear hub
32h Novatec 772SB 12mm x 142mm. Comes w/ 11speed Shimano/SRAM and can also supply Campagnolo free hub. Bearings have been replaced with SKF units and this rolls very smoothly

Rims

Spokes and nipples
Sapim CX-Ray bladed spokes except on DS rear is with Sapim Strong spokes for extra durability. Nipples are Sapim polyax brass 14mm

A few weeks ago I posted a parcel via To Ireland via Parcel2go using DPD to Ireland and it got bounced back and only just received it back 3 weeks later because of Brexit rubbish. In any case dpd apologised and refunded the cost of the shipping. Apparently now they have resolved the issue so should be fine.

Totally worth it for the blue passports and all the happy cod :)
