@onyerbike - the above is done with QR skewers through the axle with the PDW 'fender' attachments acting as covers over the thru axle ends. Once 'tightened' they aren't rattling... but haven't used them extensively yet - will report back

Patches arrived and I bought some chromoplastics and PDW adapters for QR skewers… bit fiddly but the rear is on and wheel spins freely, need to find something more permanent for securing the guard behind the front mech and probably will add a seat tube adapter to pick up where the brake bride location is… fettling the front guard isn’t happening today so I’ve gone with the raceblade as before with Velcro…
Might order some ‘clay’ pink paint for them for the final fitment.

Nice, did consider clip on guards but would really like something with full coverage and avoiding as much contact with paint as possible… other option is considered was these but nah… https://www.bicyclequickguard.co.uk/

Another good idea… and yeah punctures fixes would be easier… (got some open Pave ordered for winter riding)

On to the mudguards themselves… always liked the PDW design (attachedment to seat tube and single struts) but they have a chamfered design that will limit clearance under the forks… might go for SKS as a proof of concept and keep an eye out for those carbon mudguards some folk have tried…
