Thats weird.. Im assuming its not a campagnolo hub then or at least a dilemma i haven't encountered with campagnolo hubs. What brand is the hub (not free hub)? Its not the same exact procedure on all hubs.

Since you are new to campy.. are you perhaps just trying these shifters with no cables installed? If so just mount a cable in the lever and pull by hand after pressing the thumb shifter. Could be as easy as that.

Those are the new shape tho (2009-present). If you want the older hood shape that you have now its the escape mechanism that you need to watch out for and most likely heard bad things about. Only difference with those are no multiple shifts to smaller cogs so exactly the same as with the power shift in the later models. It seems campy doesn't like to make stuff easy to understand or memorize..

But basically the espace are the same as power shift, only a diff name at the time.

So thats at least 3 ppl who have been suckered. Be sure to open paypal dispute and make it a "claim" at once. With enough claims on his account surely he will loose out pretty fast.

He hasent notified paypal anything yet for at least 4 days since i made my case a claim. Guess he is not going to challenge it.

Ive accepted I'm in it for the long haul with smps. With my birthday coming up i had to treat my ass to something nice. They kinda clash with my bikes a bit or at least i think they will, anxious to fit em when they arrive to c tho. If no good i will build a bike or 2 around them at some point :)

I paid for this as did another member. I asked if he took payment from someone else he said no.

Should have sent track info yday as per agreement. Did not. Nomally not a big deal but after i expressed concearns should be more communicative.

If this is one big missunderstanding i will be quick to appologize but it seems unlikely and maybe someone else could save a buck if i act now instead of later.
